Found out my cap man is so closed off bc he has some issues dealing with his emotions so he just shuts down. With therapy, patience and love this can be improved but at their core they will never change. Also if he is doing something to make u upset tell him then and there but in a neutral tone to for him to know like “hey this bothers me please dont do this” and try not to dominate the conversations (i have trouble with that) make sure to ask him how he is doing or random things about him (when he is in a good mood lol) and maybe he will open up more. Honestly my husband respects me as my own person (it took me a while to notice that if im always on his hip all the time we start to annoy each other) make sure to have ur own hobbies and do ur own thing and he will be more interested when he sees you being independent . ♊️💕
