Oh I had the same starter problem so changed start motor and the switch on the handle bar still the same so I changed the starter solinoid and all was good so that cost me a bit I should of tested them all to see what was wrong I’m on about me not you ❤

Was yours a battery drain issue Neil?
The starter on here was good but the bike had a battery drain issue which a different mechanic said was the starter. So the owner of the bike bought a new starter.
