"a digestible and engaging way to access the news." Translates as "the same garbage non-jounarlism we do for adults, but done with insulting condescension and giggles."
What about the costs of the distribution, gas, resource materials to transport shelve sale and maintain the stores.. just because an apple is $1.00 wholesale it still needs to be transported, stocked, maintained, sold and bagged.. in order to keep the stores operating there are operational costs associated I don’t think the cost of the item is purely dictated by the whole sale price…
John Broughton Shared with Public I was in Woolies this afternoon to get a couple of things, I saw bars of chocolate with a yellow discount price said any 2 bars for $5.00 so I grabbed a couple and went to checkout. When they went through they come up at $6.00 each. Asked the attendant about it she said you need a rewards card. I told her where to go and where to stick every thing I was going to purchase. Deceptive marketing is wrong.
I'm not sure why I don't like this but I think it's because it doesn't feel organic. It's pretending to be a podcast when it's actually a scripted video with microphones as props in front of them. It's like a weird attempt at organic conversation I'd expect from AI or something. It is unsettling and not at all authentic 😂

Not a word about the govts influence on this
What about fuel prices for transport not to mention the federal govt. increasing taxes on transport industry!!!

I never shop at Woolworths, they are woke scam artists.

They speak so slow and their eyes are glued to their screens that I wonder if the banter is scripted as well
