I am not from the same background as you, but oh my gosh, I see hints of that legalistic thought process and just about every person who follows Christ at one point or another. We must remember it is by his grace we are saved in case anyone should boast
I never hated other Christians when I was professing but I had a bit of an exalted view of my own situation, believing I was walking with those who, 'had the answer' to true salvation. Lol. I still have difficulty with just randomly sharing the now, true Christ message with strangers. I still wait until it comes up in conversation, then I will share. I think that's how it's supposed to be. I find if you bring it up randomly, people tend to run for the hills. Lol. But I'm getting better and I'm finding my sharing niche in the comments on podcasts, in encouraging ex members now, not so much here but on other sites. I plan to do training to be a chaplain (a lay minister who talks to people in hospitals, prisons etc., who want to hear about God and Christ), as I work part-time as a peer leader and program facilitator, in a mental health clinic here in my country. I hope to do chaplaincy voluntarily. So all of this situation with people leaving meetings and sites like yours has encouraged me to pursue this chaplaincy path. So thank you guys, as your discussions and interviews is giving me so much clarity, from your scriptural research. 🙂🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for being earnest and providing a different perspective for the professing diaspora. It's good to hear these verses free of the "truth" context.
Minnesota Book Thank you both for your videos! I have watched them all, have enjoyed every single one and can't wait for more. Your content is truly eye-opening!
remember that scripture in the old testament about the book of remembrance was written for those people who gathered together and talked about God and his word and ways and past doings and such? going to look it up after I finish this thank you guys for creating Awareness.
It also says faith without works is dead. The works follow the faith. Works is putting Jesus first everyday, listening to what he is saying to you and what he has you doing as unto him. Example is looking after the orphans and widows. Always ask for him to lead us and guide us daily.
Thank you for this. Never heard about 2x2 ministry till a few weeks ago. Thanks for getting out the truth. I pray others in 2x2 will come to know Christ. Are you going to be doing any more podcasts or just these 10?
Malachi 3:16 English Standard Version The Book of Remembrance 16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name. 👍🏻
I think people are basically good, as God has put the spirit of life in us. Salvation is by the grace of God, making us the children of God. Given this, folks worry way too much about being saved. Religions treat salvation like an extended warranty. Just be thankful, drive the car, and treat it like it's your own, it's a gift.
I speak Spanish so… sorry for mistakes: I heard someone said this about legalism: "Legalism is to believe that I deserve something that can only come by grace." Love Daniela 🫂
This is my third time watching. I never get tired of verses after verses showing us that Christ is the only way to heaven. Thank you both.
