Loving the price comparison way of reviewing these vehicles! Really helps show the differences you get at relatively the same price! Thank you Ben! Keep rockin' it!
I was disappointed when you had the diesel, despite it being "premium" I think the 5.3 is a more accurate comparison. People that want diesel don't have an option anymore for ram so I don't think they would compare them.
I have the same Ram, for the money you get more features and styling inside/ outside with the Chevy. Ram just has more power, looks more aggressive and excellent ride quality.
Ram is cheaping out so much on there trucks yet the prices are going up. Not spray in liner no LED light RAM needs to step up to it going to lose out on this game.
Well i got the same exact truck and it will absolutely scream and i run it in sport mode rear wheel drive most the time with start stop turned off.i get about 25/26mpg driving it like i stole it all the time. But from Tennessee to nc get 30.9 average on that 350 mile trip. These trucks are amazing
How would you compare the chevy to Ram's 'Built to Serve" edition Big Horn? Feel like that's the best bang for buck truck since comes with better seats, LED lights as well as some other features. Thanks!
Biased because I own a 23 Silverado with a 3.0 that said I have not driven a Ram. Agree the Silverado seats are firm. Personal opinion but to me the Ram looks a bit dated, no excuse for still having halogen headlamps and very few tie downs in the box. I prefer the all digital display, and the electronic floor shift on the Silverado. The MSRP might be the same but I think the Silverado you tested is better equipped. It comes with led lights front and back, the flex tailgate and with the 3.0 and the 10 speed probably the best powertrain in a half ton truck with the bonus if much better fuel economy over the 5.7 Hemi. Bottom line the Silverado is the better buy.
If we are talking comfort and smoothness of the ride, Ram beats them all. If we are talking performance and capabilities that is a completely different story. I have a Ram 1500 and I'll say this, if you're getting a Ram I'd go diesel every time.
I am very disappointed in the Chevrolet Silverado trucks, my 2020 has 70,000 miles and already needs a new transmission and I only use it to go to work
Little Benny I know for a fact that you sell RAM and you know that it's a superior truck. Smoother quieter more refined and better interior. But of course you know that because you drive it all the time and you also know the ram is number one a reliability for 3 years..and chevy should have had v8 gas

Chevy, because the Ram is a piece of shit Chrysler and always will be a piece of shit Chrysler. Buying a Ram was the worst decision I've ever made. So glad it's gone and I have a Chevy again. No comparison whatsoever. Mechanics hated the Ram, the lemon lawyers hated the Ram (Chrysler) and, basically, just unanimous hate for Chrysler. Mutual feeling. Ram = Garbage. Period.

which truck ?
@giovannim.2393 no hemi is getting those numbers unless going downhill with a 70mph wind and a sail in the bed.
Ben. I'm really enjoying your reviews. Thanks so much for sharing.
We miss your TRX. Lets get one and see content of that again. :)
Silverado looks sleek and modern. The Ram, not so much…
100% the halogen headlights

I have that 2024 BTS 5.7 hemi . I traded my Chevy for it & I don’t regret it one bit definitely a beautiful truck and just rides so smooth
What new heavy duty truck (1 ton 350/3500) has the best ride in a single rear wheel configuration?

I agree. Chevy looks better for this trim comparison.
You can get LED lights on a Big Horn. This comparison wasn’t equal on that option.
Nissan Titan pro-4x still wins hands down!!
That’s good that u got a Silverado diesel. The gas v8’s are not reliable with that cylinder deactivation
Rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy, and I would buy a RAM to tow both of the other bastards !!!!!
Should compare with the custom trim Silverado instead they are much more in line.
That a massive step back apples for apples. Rst & big horn are right on.
@@windycitywarrior71 more like LT z71 vs big horn. Many RST have leather and center consoles, hd surround vision and Bose audio
I have never seen the duramax engine have the column mounted shifter. Does this particular one have the 8spd transmission?
Ten speed for all engines except the 2.7 which has an 8-speed.
5.3 vs 5.7 please
I agree.
Silverado for the easy win… I would consider purchasing the Silverado in this configuration. Thanks Ben
I also added cat skins leather and it’s great
I am not sure that the Hemi and Duramax are comprables, but the insides are.
Heres what i learned.....trucks are over priced. I will hang on to my 19 ram for the forseeable future!
Shit I'm hanging onto my 2001 silverado
RST I thought didn’t come with adaptive cruise(?)
It's not standard but you can get it with the Safety Package.

You need to compare the 5.3 to the 5.8...... Sticking the Diesel in there just isn't a direct comparison.
5.3 in the chevy only pumpin 320 horses while the 5.7 hemi pumpin 390 horses.
I like the ram better it just seems like it's more hello. When price to options are compared
Everbody got to wait until 2024/2025 for the new ram model
Nah new 2025 ram 1500 redesign no longer has the hemi. I think that is going to hurt their sales even more.
I would have compared v8 to v8. More true.
Just notice. Not same comparison. I own Ram. Always have. Rode in many chevys. They’re all the same.

RAM
It would have been good if the comparison on both would be diesel.
Chevy Silverado RST is larger than the ram 1500 BigHorn
I hate how the beds are small
