Duane, thanks for your video and information! We just got a Sol Dawn. It was a replacement for our BaseCamp that was destroyed in a hail storm last August. We had just got that where we wanted, batteries, solar, refrigerator, etc., and the hail storm hit!!!
On the Sol Dawn I was able to install two 200ah batteries where the original LA battery lived. I built up the floor and battery area with pink foam insulation until I could get the two new AmpereTime batteries in place.
I also installed a 2000w pure sine wave inverter above the freshwater tank ( I know, potentially wet area, but I shielded it pretty well and plan to keep the water pressure on the low side).
Also installed a Progressive Industries 30 amp EMS in the are behind the power center.
Plan to do solar install when the weather warms up just a bit (we’re in Camas, WA). Regarding that, I wanted to confirm that you ran your solar feed down through the space between the shower and the refrigerator/microwave cabinet?
    Thanks Don

Hey - so happy you did this video. Would you mind telling me what you would do today for a boondocking setup for a Sol Dawn Rover with panels on the roof? I'm looking for something simple that my electrician buddy and I can do. It seems like a double 120 amp-hour Battery EVO setup standing side by side (on the driver's side?) is the way to go.

Great video, thanks ! We are ordering a Dawn tomorrow. I just learned that the TV was AC , not DC. Off the subject, in your opinion, do you need the protective cover for the front window ?
