- This civic is unbelievable! It’s rocking a 2.0L motor, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE..and it’s running 7’s at over 185mph!! Kudos to Ramey Racing and everybody that helped get this car to where it is. It is a BLAST to watch at this years Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals. And congratulations for becoming the FASTEST Sport FWD car in the world. That’s one heck of an accomplishment!

Man, drag racing is drag racing... It’s all about what style of car that impresses you the most... But, man, Mustang had a 2 to 3 car launch out the hole and then that Honda Civic sucked his ass up and spit him out that back with the gap! That’s freaking impressive!!!👍🏾

I've had a B18 in my CRX for around 15 years. Never drive it anymore, Start it up every couple years and it always fires without a hiccup. No matter how old the gas is.

BBG doesnt "kick in". Its always active if you set your parameters.
CardsOnTheLow shut up smart ass. If you want to get technical it does "kick in" to the different boost levels when you switch. You know what he was saying.

If you want to "get technical" I'll explain to you the entire BBG set-up process for the Motec ECU's and then maybe you'll realize what I said was wasn't being a "smart ass". Each gear has a completely different set of ignition, fueling, and angle tables as well as boost levels which are all set and saved in the .Kal file. These different parameters arent "kicked off" till the gear is selected... they're ready whenever the cars on. Simplified, if the car's ignition is on, BBG is active.
So amazing to see that car run consistent all weekend, awesome And amazing to meet, Fred, Kyle and Scott. Thanks for signing the my 1320 hat fred

The power to weight ratio on Civics are absolutely insane. They might not be the quickest off of the line but they end up flying past you with ease half way down the track.

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator".
First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator
traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a
minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not
the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum
the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open
my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless,
cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my
terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.
I love living here in Maryland we have a great variety of cars here and our civics are some of the fastest in the world!

There is a certain, almost uncanny quality to FWD drag cars that I love, but I do not know what it is. I mean, I love seeing FWDs going fast in any form, be it rally, circuit, or drag racing, but something about fat drag tires on the front of a compact hatchback as opposed to the rear of a V8 American boat is fascinating. I almost want to say it is eccentric in a way.
In any case, it is always a joy to see FWDs punching up on AWD and RWD competitors. So often overlooked as they are.
Hondas been beating the shit out of mustangs on the track for a while now. Its a challenge but they get it done.

you're right ! Speed factory when trey are sets their record they was on 26'' tire and 86mm turbo too. this year they ran 7.8@200mph with smaller tires and smaller turbo 76mm seems to me.
