I need more insight on how to formulate your own contract please? Any resources in that area for a freelancer?

Most independent contractors do not generate their own contracts, the flight department may initiate this between parties but usually it’s a simple verbal agreement and confirmation. Independent contractor is another term for freelancer.
If the client uses your services through a staffing company, the contract is between them and the vendor.
      I hope this information helps.
