I took the whole front beam off my 71’ to do this job. Halfway through, about to install new ball joints. Yeah, getting the old ones off is a bitch.

Dude have you ever heard of gear wrench metric get yourself a set also shallow socket impact with a swivel knock that out pretty quickly I guess I'm going to have to buy you a mailbox there's grass growing around that bus and I have a 68 VW bus and if you can make it over to my house we can shoot a video and show you tips and tricks I also have a vent pack lift in my backyard it makes things so much easier than crawling underneath the car LoL 😅 you doing a great job just wanted to bust your balls a little bit and keep up the good videos by the way do you live near Los Angeles I'll have you work on my bus👍

a great example of some one who has no clue how to do it or what to do. the ball joints have splines to lock them in, hence why you press them in and out, but I give you credit for persurring and getting there, you had the right tool to do in on the vehicle, but just didn't know how to use them, anti seize will do absolutely nothing

Ya it was not fun… I skipped all the fighting of it but it was a 10 hour job for 4 ball joints. Never again!

If you had the proper tools it wouldn’t have taken that long. I have the dealer tools and it takes me less than 2 minutes a balljoint to replace.
