I remember when you answered one of my questions in a video in regards to how a dancer positions their fingers.
I still hope to some day take ballroom. Even if I could learn just one routine, I would be so happy.
My husband passed 5 years ago and I’m still adjusting to the change.

Egils my teacher is in NY so can I ask how does the man get fully around first turn ? We are having trouble? Thanks so much.
There is 1/2 turn to left between 1st and 2nd step (Lady dances step back and heel turn). But most difficult is 1/2 pivot on 3rd step with closing of free foot without weight (at same time Lady dances side and cross with turn).

What is a "membership figure?"
It's term from old technique books where all basic figures where divided into levels which are used in professional examinations for dance teachers. Levels are: Student, Associate, Member, Fellow
