- Hi Jajings! Here is our 12-hour layover in Singapore from Dubai flight.
It was truly exhausting, but this country is well worth a visit! Despite the fact that this was my fourth visit to this country, I was still impressed by its cleanliness, bright lights, people, and environmental initiatives. It is, indeed, one of the most likely to visit countries!

I have a 10 hour layover in Singapore also next month. From Bangkok via Singapore then Manila is my route. Did your check in bags go straight to Manila? No need to get the check in bags right? I only have a small roller but plan to check it in so I don’t have to carry when I go out in Singapore
Hi RD, yes po, in our case, we checked in our luggages from Dubai pa, we have 25kg check in baggage each. no need to take it with you, during the layover kasi airlines usually will do the transfers sa next carrier. This is much better so you don't have to bring your stuff kung papasyal kayo sa SG. 😊 Enjoy and be safe.

Hi, much better if alam mo na kung saan na gate nyo. Pwede rin naman lumabas muna pero make sure to make an allowance pag balik para hindi madali sa pag punta sa gate. 😊

Hi Ma'am. Will also have a 12-hour layover in Changi Airport. Sa Terminal 1 immigration lang po need pumunta before pumunta sa The Jewel, or pwede kahit saang terminal? Terminal 3 po kasi ang baba ko. Thanks

Hindi na po kukunin. Yung airport na po ang mag transfer ng checked in luggage nyo to the next plane.
Hi po. Sa arrival napo ba ng Singapore airport kayo nagprocess ng mga forms para maka-exit? Then pagbalik po ng airport for the connecting flight, mag-immigration po ba ulit? Salamat po
Hi, yes po upon arrival po kami nag process ng docs to exit the airport. Then for the connection naman po, wala na. Just present your passport and ticket upon entrance po sa immigration. :) I just dont know na lang po ano na rules nila ngayon kasi this video was 2yrs ago po. Hope this helps 😊

We have 12hrs layover next month sa singapore we want sana to go outside kahit sana sa jewel lang or sight seing around the airport lang but 11pm po ng gabi dating namin tapos the next day ng 11am naman yung next flight namin. Any advise ano po dapat namin gawin to maximize our time while we have our 12 hrs layover? thank you po!!
Hi, sorry late reply po. 11pm po was the last trip when we traveled to SG during covid. I'm not so sure this time if it's still the same. We suggest for you to travel the morning after. Though most of the establishments are close in the morning. But the view as it is still a great experience. Enjoy your trip! 🤍

Singapore Airlines po kami nuon. That time, covid vaccine certificate was required. A soft copy will do.
Hi Ms. Jaja.. just watched your vlogg and thank you sa infos by answering all their questions. Ask ko lang din po, yung transportation and mga tourist destination ba is open 24hrs? Dadating ksi ako ng singapore by 8pm and planning to go directly sa mga spot na ni vlogg mo bago tumuloy don sa transient house na ni book ko. Thank you in advance sa reply. ☺️
Hi po, sorry for the late reply. During out trip, there was a last trip sa trains. But the taxis naman po are available 24hrs kaso mahal. I suggest po na ang arrival nyo sa SG is in the morning para sulit po. Thank you 🤍

Yes pwede po umexit since visa free po ang Filipino sa SG. No other expense po ang babayaran natin unless sa usual expenses natin during our trip. Enjoy! 🤍

Yes po by metro train lang po and then konting lakad.

Hello Ma'am... Meron din akong 21 hrs layover sa SG sa flight ko.. Kaso ang dating ko sa SG from pinas is 6pm na so night time na ko mkapag ikot dun. If lalabas ako kaya ako ng gabi to explore outside and bumalik na kami sa airport.. Papayagan pa kaya kami lumabas uli the following morning? Kasi ang flight namin is 3pm pa pa Dubai.. Gusto ko sana daytime pumunta sa Merlion.. Gsto ko pa sana magpunta sa Universal studios din para makpag picture lang sana kaso baka ma-late a ko a check in..ang open nila kasi yata is 10am ang plan ko din is mag taxi na lang from Airport to Merlion and Univeral studios. Super traffic din kaya ang roads dun like sa EDSA? and how many hrs before ang flight dapat makabalik na po sa airport? question ko din sana yung sa check in luggae pero nabasa ko na yung answer sa ibang comment..
Hi, sorry sa late reply, been busy po. Based on our experience, mas mainam na mag check in sa hotel kana lang pag dating mo sa SG ng 6pm kasi mahirap tulugn din sa Airport during night time unless okay sayo matulog sa lapag hehehe. And until 11:50pm lang train dun. I suggest wag kana mag taxi, kasi accessible naman by train.
Tingin ko kulangin ka na din ng time if punta kapa ng universal studios. Iwas na din sa pag mamadali sana since maghahanap kapa ng gate mo. Pwede ka naman lumabas sa morning but make sure be back on time max siguro around 12pm.
Ps. Malls and a lot of establishments open in the afternoon. And once ka lang din pwede lumabas ng immigration. So if plan mo lumabas ng gabi, kinabukasan kana lang bunalik sa Airport para makagala ka during the day. So, check in kana lang po sa cheapest hotel.

We brought with us our hand-carry bags but the checked in luggage stayed at the airport. The airline will handle the transfer to the next aircraft.

Yes tatatakan po passport nyo if lalabas immigration. Ensure lang po na meron kayo minimum 8hrs yata na layover para payagan nila kayo lumabas ng Airport. Please check na lang ponsa airlines nyo or sa crew about this. If I'm not mistaken, minimum of 6hrs yata. I forgot hehehe.

Hi Danica, yes need po mag check in ulit if lumabas po kayo and they will just ask for your passport and ticket (for the next flight). Now, yung checked in bags nyo po no need to bring with you outside SG. The airline will directly transfer the bags to the next plane.
For the cash, food stalls still require cash payment po SGD. Be sure you have enough po kasi mejo mahal din po palitan:) may stores naman na accepting ng cards but better meron cash.
ilang oras allowance nyo before kayo bumalik sa airport for boarding? need ba 3-4 hours before boarding din gaya ng sa pinas or mas organized sa SG so kaya like 1 to 2 hours nalang?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. During our travel, we just had 2hrs allowance before our boarding time. Once you get there, check their boarding process because it was covid when we traveled. Then just make room for allowance for any uncertainties.
Just want to check during our transit in Singapore can we take 2 hours free tours? What steps needs to be followed for that, please tell??
Hi sorry for the late reply. I think this is doable, just make sure that you have enough layover hours to do that, or else, they won't allow you to leave the airport.
Madam Jaja, paano yung baggage nyo? Hindi nyo na kinuha pa? May lay-over din po ako ng mahabang oras. Good to know you have this kind of videos na pwede pala ma-enjoy ang lay-over, not just laying down and waiting sa airport. You're a blessing to us travellers Madam Jaja!!

Hi po, sorry late reply. No need na po kunin yung checked in baggage nyo. Yung hand carry lang po ninyo ang need nyo dalhin sa layover. Bale, airline na po ang bahala mag transfer to the next plane.

Hi yes, during our trip mismo sa SG na po kami nag register online. It just took us 5mins po. As of today po, not sure kung ano na po ang latest terms ni SG for tourists.

Hi Beby, sorry for late reply, no need for the travel insurance as far as I know. They did not ask for it that time.

Mabilis lang po, very accessible ang transportation sa SG. Just note na until 11pm lang ang mrt nila.

Hi po, ang ginawa po namin nagpa change kami ng AED to USD, then upon arrival po sa SG, nagpa exchange kami from USD to SGD. Hope this helps. 😊
Need po SGD sa mga gagastusin nyo po sa Singapore, especially if lalabas ka Airport. Sa Airport naman, may establishments na tumatanggap ng USD.

Hi Sheila sorry for the late reply, yes kilo kilo pa din po sila. During our travel po kasi we made sure na sakto lang baggage namin. Wala din po kami nakita dun na may excess. I suggest po na mag timbang na lang din po kayo bago umalis para iwas problema pag dating sa airport :)

Hi Jean, actually hindi namin ito na check since nag diy lang po kami. 😊 pero most probably bukas, since open naman na ang SG with safety precautions of course.
Ano po requirements nila sa Immigration para makalabas sa airport during transit? I understand the layover duration should be at least 5.5 hours long? Pero pagdating po sa Immigration, ano po required? And may pre-arrival requirements pa? Thank you!
Hi Nathaniel, boarding pass lang as proof of your next flight and there is also a pre departure e-form you need to complete. I have mentioned the same here sa vlog and also no need for pcr test na as of this writing. Just make sure you comply with the country's covid restrictions and arrival requirements.

Madam, we’re currently staying po sa dubai ngayon under visit visa and pauwi po ng pinas sa January with my mother and 5 years old daughter tanong ko lang po kung may babayaran kaya kami sa permit na sinasabi niyo po sa immigration? Salamat po..
Hi Kris, balak nyo po ba mag tour sa SG? Wala naman po kayo babayaran if lalabas kayo sa immigration. Need nyo lang at least with minimum 6hrs layover para payagan kayo mag exit sa immigration.
Now, if hindi naman kayo lalabas po ng airport, there are resting areas in each terminal po you can stay at while waiting for your connecting flight. 😊
