13 - Add and Multiply Imaginary Numbers - Part 1

In this lesson we will learn how to add expressions and multiply expressions that contain imaginary numbers. We add imaginary numbers as we usually do in algebra by adding like terms. We also multiply imaginary expressions in the same way, but if we ever get i squared (i^2) in the answer then we replace that with a -1.

If it's too fast for you then:
You can watch this video first and then, after you already watched it - do practice problems (watch second time).
Also if it's too fast you can change playing speed.

To change playing speed:
1. tab on the screen and then on the settings button.
2. In settings look for a button with name [Playback speed]
3. Change the speed from [normal] - to that's above.
(The speed goes from really slow (above) to really fast (below) )
4. If you leave TH-cam or close video and open another, the playing speed will go to [normal].
