Great job covering the battle and the tour! I recently walked the saw mill road and did find the real property marker! Always a thrill to walk the path of American heroes! Keep the videos coming!!

I just saw your video on the Battle of Princeton. I am from Princeton and have visited there before but you provided information that I never knew. Thank you. !!!!

Kindred spirits! I walk by Colonel Haslet's grave here in Dover, Delaware on a regular basis, remembering my trip to the Princeton battlefield. How close and yet so far...... Thanks for the great video. You guys rock.

Awesome video and tour - with one minor quibble/factoid. The original Mercer Oak was a much grander tree but went down in a storm years ago when I was a kid living nearby - probably circa 2001. The current tree on the site was planted shortly afterward, and if I remember correctly was a sapling descended from the witness tree. Thanks for visiting an overlooked battlefield!

I dream one day of visiting some of the battlefields in the States. Thanks for taking us along and going through some of the places and events.

Excellent video gentlemen, love your channel and what you're doing with it. I'm glad that the local Princeton group and the American Battlefield trust were able to save more land for the Princeton Battlefield recently.

Yes, they are working hard to save land in a very developed area, and there's also been talk about finally building a visitor center. Admittedly, they've been talking about that for years, but it feels like some momentum might finally be behind it. It's a park that deserves a lot more attention than it gets, but they're going to need money to pull it off.

    Good presentation.
I live only a few minutes away from the Battlefield and wish there was more interpretative signage. Perhaps with the coming of the 250th that may change.
One thing though, the Mercer Oak you see today is not a witness tree as the original was toppled over by a storm in 2000. So, an acorn was planted from the original and has grown quite nicely.

What a very cool vid-tour guide of Princeton battlefield. It a shame certain things tend to have more attention than others...like this battlefield or Grants tomb to name a few. Anyways, I thought Greg looked familiar...I took a Gettysburg tour many years ago...around 94ish...maybe it was you??? Great video guys, very informative, could understand the verbiage and was not very long. Take care.

That was well before my time (Greg typing here...) at the park. I worked there around 2007. I must have a familiar face. Thanks for watching the Princeton tour!

Thanks for this walk through. Combined with some YT animation features one can get an approximate shape of this battle. Elevation is also difficult to visualize. Fischer writes that Washington was observing the Cadwalader rout before he rode into the fray to regroup them. A visit to the site using your tour will be interesting.

No mention of the William Clark homestead and barn no longer existing or where it was. But generally good video.

Loved this video guys. I’ve been visiting Princeton for the past couple of days and was disappointed in the battlefield as I found in extremely lacking in interpretation. My ancestor was with Sullivan’s men. Can you do a video of their part in the battle and the surrounding of Nassau Hall?

Alright gonna say it. You guys produce quality content. See if you cant get some promos on other historical channels here on youtube. Pool together some advertising money amongst your members. Maybe have a interactive element. You guys have a decent following of people who regularly watch yall. Itd be amazing if you pitted your viewers against your members?

I went to Princeton battlefield on the actual anniversary of the battle, was a little disappointed how little is actually at the battlefield, just a few signs and the Clark House, one small cannon. Still cool but not as cool as Monmouth Battleground State Park.

Agreed, there's very little left today. I know the park is hoping to raise money for improvements, but as a state park funds are limited in that regard.
