- Join us for a tour of Brandywine Battlefield, the site of the largest one-day engagement in the American War of Independence! The core of the massive, 10-square mile battlefield is only a small state park, just 50 acres. But on this tour we'll take you outside the boundaries of the state park to surrounding sites that are also open to the public. We'll visit Kennett Square, the Chadd's Ford river crossing, Washington's headquarters, Birmingham Hill and more!

Excellent explanation of the Battle of Brandywine. My wife & I lived in Kennett Sq for a couple of years back in the early 90’s. We often would visit and hang out in the park. I was totally unaware of the other battle sites & the Kennett Connection. It’s a gorgeous area. Our one negative memory was my wife’s car was stolen while we attended a movie at the Painter’s Crossing shopping center at the intersection of 202 & Rt 1. It was taken to a chop shop in Wilmington Delaware.

A battlefield tour by LWTV is exactly what I needed after being tested for COVID and being beyond ill over the weekend.
Nothing like a breath of fresh air when we've all been trapped inside for so long! Getting out onto any battlefield is just awesome. Brandywine is a big one to explore...

I have a photograph of that field piece (which i recently referred to when painting a 10mm scale version) and the grass is short and the view uninterrupted.

Another battle where Howe allowed the rebels to escape, he may have been brave & he knew how to win battles, but he was clueless about Strategy
It is 245 anniversary of Battle of Brandywine, Lord Howe outmanuverd Washington but failed to complete his victory and he disobey orders to support Buroygne that led to British defeat at Saratoga
there was a skirmish in Clark NJ during the revolutionary war on Madison Ave . it was right infront of one of the signers of the declaration anyone can find more detail on such

A popular question! We are currently in the middle of the 5th and final turn of the Pyrrhic War campaign. Patrons have been getting regular updates and know where the campaign stands right now but we'll be putting out an update video for everyone on TH-cam as soon as it wraps. And of course, eventually we will have a fully edited, multi-part series covering every action and battle in the campaign. There have been several major engagements so far....
