Spore Warden's arrows are odd, they feel really weak in the early and midgames, before being rediculously powerful damage dealers in the late game. At least, that's what I've found playing around so far.
Yeah I saw a video saying it was incredible and then when I picked it as my subclass to give it a try I was barely tickling anything but I'm assuming modifiers and stuff is going to make it crazy maybe it counts as gun damage or something maybe it's supposed to be combined with all the passives in the tree but since I'm going companion build maybe it's just completely useless to me, I really wish I could change the element of blizzard cuz I hate that it feels cold damage I wish I could just make it a dark damage tornado or something
@@avirei98 Ability damage scales heavily towards the end of the game, so early on skiills that have Utility (like that can freeze the enemy) are strong, but towards the endgame it becomes both an easy way to proc the "Wrath of Nature" ability, and also just a pretty heavy damage dealer in its own right.
Okay, so hear me out. I have a spellweaver with ambi-hextrous, combined with the graveborn. Glass cannon with dark magic health regeneration. I played the siren in borderlands 3 (wich was my first of the series by the way) I loved it, tho it did lose its popularity. I'm going for a Sporeborn/Sporezerker. I like the idea for an army of pets running right over my enemies or freezing them to death when I call down the wrath of nature on them.
Graveborn + spellshot is probably the best combination. Spellshot gives u shield with ur stacks and graveborn u have lots of things that heal you, so you're fine most of the time, just keep doing damage
Im using spell shot and spore warden and its mainly focused on my little mushroom guy while i use spells from a distance and its working out pretty good so far
Let me help all you new spelshots out there, the skeep ability is just Maya's phaselock from BL2 it works exactly the same but there's no skill tree buffs for it. If you go ambidextrous then what your gonna want is a calamity spell in one hand(preferably one with a black hole effect on it and lifesteal dmg is helpful) your other spell is gonna be a lightning bolt one, looking for 3-4 charges and that's all you need. Your melee weapons only real purpose is to find a nice one with Archmage one it which you will only really use in the few moments your calamity isn't back up yet. Your gonna wanna stack intelligence then dex. What I did was my first 5 levels went right into int, then next 5 to dex, then attunement, then wisdom and either back to int or stop over and drop 5 lvls in con before going back to int.
I did Clawbringer with Spore Warden. With 2 pets on the field of combat and my vampire sword abilities with instant ice spike spell and cold icey twisters. I find it way to easy to hold enemy's at bay or join my mushroom friend in his poisonous farts. While my little dragon friend burns and electrocutes everything. I still hurt myself with electricity but my team seems solid for most fights. Its only in boss fights I need to be careful or untill the boss is focused on one of my friends for a cut up with my sword. But going to try a few of these builds.
I went with a Spore Warden and grabbed Clawbringer along the way, focusing on making my companions true advocates of tanks and elemental damage of Poison, Fire, and Electricity. While I focused on using Ice and Hight damage weapons like the ones from BlackPowder (the equivalent of Jackobs gun) and Torgue weapons, a Torgue pistol was extremely useful with its sticky bolts mechanics on most enemies since you fire 5 shots and quickly reload. Though my frates would tank everyone once in a while, so if anyone knows why let me know.

Based on every video I have seen, apparently Spore Warden is the way to go. I picked it because who doesn't like a shroom companion that farts as a weapon? Then I started noticing MOST videos have people playing that class. I don't think it really has anything much better than the rest, though. Maybe just a coincidence?
I got spore warden and spell caster I use the double spell build and I love it because I use a control spell like the click spell on the left bumper (ps4) and a fire and forget spell on the other bumper so u can fire both spells but because your gun hand is free because you chose fire and forget on that hand you can still maximise damage by shooting your op gun damage
First play through was grave born with spell shot. I one hit every boss with my spells that deal dark magic and then more crit damage plus spell damage from spell shot. Honestly the build is so over powered that the game wasn’t fun. I killed the dragon lord with two hits from my spell. One before he went into the shield and then one after that. Also only played solo. I am also on the hardest difficulty and now working my way through to level 20 chaos.
