Howzit Roman, nice to see you getting out and about. I'm from Port Elizabeth originally but I've been in the UK for the last 28 years. I spent 2 weeks in Moscow in 2012 for work, I loved it, so much history everywhere.

I'm a Afrikaner who went to the UK London 5 years ago thanx to SA's BEE Policies I stagnated dispite more experienced and qualified then my bosses at Koeberg.. I met my Russian GF(Now wife) there, London is basically a 1st world S.hole, I came to Russia in 2021, I live in Sochi (Southern Russia) same weather as Capetown!!! But way safer, cleaner, better infrastructure etc!!! I'm earning about the same as I did in CT, But living costs is way cheaper here so it's like I'm earning much more!!! I don't live in a gated community ether just a normal suburb, everything is cheaper here petrol, taxes, electricity, water, Municipal taxes are reduculously low, food etc.. I feel much more connected to the Russians then English, Our cultures is way much closer they are very conservative, proud, religious(Orthodox)and warm(Russian soul) my kids has the best futures here... Sochi is perfect 👌 for us South Africans aswell even Crimea with the warm weather!! Moscow is awesome but during the winter it's very cold, Still 100x better then London.. Yes diversity is not the strength here 😂 I could go for weeks without even seeing a black person and when I do it's either a student or tourist!!! But I go to SA every year and see enough of them, my parents still lives there both my sister and brother lives in Australia they now have their own families... Please do not listen to western media, come for yourselves!!! You'd only be fed propaganda, Most Cities are top tier not just Moscow!!! I can't understand how UK is 1st world and Russia 2nd 😂, It makes really no sense!!! GDP per capita is nominated in U$, We use Rubles here not U$ and comparing cost in UK it's 5x more expensive aswell, you earn more but taxes are 2.5x higher, food is 3x higher, everything!!! Litterally!!! You can live on U$1000.00 perfectly comfortable here in Sochi, That would be impossible in UK!!! I earn U$3 500.00 per month in UK it's less then average, here it's alot of money I save 40% of that and still make a good living, In UK I won't safe anything and it would be impossible to live on the level I live here
