I've always loved Evos. Devin Niemela has done nothing but made me love them more and gave me confidence in owning an Evo 8-10 someday.
I'm very happy for you Devin! It's crazy that the recirculation tube rubbing against the radiator was making all that noise. The look of utter happiness was awesome!. It has to be a euphoric feeling! I can't wait until tomorrow to see the first hard pull.
Its EASY to fill the front diff.
Use a short bit of hose gaffer taped to a funnel and feed the hose down from above into the fill hole :)
You have more trust in those two lug nuts then I have in myself 😂

Funny enough I made custom radiator brackets for my 4G69t today, had the same issue. Without the rubber bushings the radiator will rattle about while driving, zip ties wont work well.
I made custom brackets out of aluminum sheets.

I think there’s enough space to re-fab the dumb tube towards the engine side to have more clearance with the radiator
You should really run some solid or poly motor mounts to help from the motor moving so much. Sure you'll get some vibrations but worth it. The very least get a solid front motor mount.
I made a fitting with a check valve to screw into the fill port to completely fill the tcase
Glad the hyper blue is back up and running. I’m selling my hyper blue STI tomorrow 😭😝

The way I fill my DSM's transfer case is just use that same exact fluid pump, and pump it into the fill plug until it starts to run out. Using that pump make it fairly easy. Filling through the drain seems like a lot more work to me.

It's always a good feeling when things just work after you've put in so much effort. Sure there may be little hiccups here and there, but having it m0ve under its own power is a huge achievement! 💯💪🏼
