Very cool little rigger, Cozy! It looks really smooth to drive and holds in the turns like a rigger should 👍 .. that crash was crazy😄 reminds me of that thing Conor McGregor used to do before a fight. Stand there and windmill the arms😂
Thanks James! I was happy with that very similar top speed as well! We will race, but not in a physical head to head, because we live in different countries 😄. The first goal is to get this boat to 100km/h with the stock setup! (Prop charge allowed)
See how the front goes light near top end ? need to think about the aerodynamics on the sponsons . Try a set of sponsons with parallel sides or an F1 style front wing made from cola cans . All cheap as chips , so doesnt matter if they fall off.Always a pleasure to watch your builds . your mind set and build quality are what makes it such a joy. Best regards Paul Baxter
Thanks, Paul! Yes, she ran light at the front! Aero is one solution indeed. Another way is the strut angle. It probably needs a slight down angle from where it is now. I appreciate your feedback!
@@CozyRC I Must have made 25/30 over the years for circuit racing, so had to be able to slow down, and strut angle gets you so far, then the nose can dig in at the start of the heat and everyone else goes wizzing by.
I just discovered your channel and I am amazed by the work ! I am totally beginner in RC world. How did you start ? I am really lost, did you already have building skills?
@halimbklm674 I started with Lego Duplo basically since I was born. I promoted to a motorized Lego train at the age of 6, and stepped up to Lego Technic around 8 years old. Then, I bought my first Tamiya RC car at age 13 and I'm hooked on RC's ever since! I build boats for 20 years now, but basically, I'm building stuff since I was born 😄
Can you help me with my boat? I take your drawings of a G force twin moto, a little bit scale it to 600mm for 1 motor. Put there rocketRC 4074 2250kv for 6s. But have a problems, she's doesn't run( Prop takes air, and don't push a boat normally. I suggest that I made short tail shaft. Can we speak on some messenger or email so I can show you photos and videos? I also built another boat, 1000mm, there almost the same situation 😢

Yes, that was a crazy shakedown! I'm not sure how it was caused. Let's how it was a single occasion 😅
Great maiden within 1 kmh with a bench tune. The day you guy race is going to make a great video.
Can’t wait.

Humm the motor screams. It looks like the prop is holding back. I guess that is what you need to figure out huh.
This prop is a good start, but probably it will run much better with a 638 or even a 640 prop. I guess we will find out 😎

You can send me a message on FB 👍
Ha, ha. 4' increase of motor temp to ambient temp. Nice
Not too bad, right? 😅 the water was near freezing, so I can imagine!
@CozyRC not bad? Ment the setup did it on a breeze. Lots offs room left 😉
@peteroosterhoff8850 I agree! Time for a more aggressive prop 😎
