Man you should try adding Power functions into your guns to make an automatic lego gun hahaha. I tried to make a shell dispensing system but in doing so i broke/melted my gun. still inventing though.
I was back into Lego guns back in the streaty days and I thought he was a master (which he is), but... This gun is truly a piece of art, the amount of detail put into this gun is truly astounding, the time that must have been thought out to create this must have been immense. You sir, are a genius. I've been following you for awhile now but I rarely ever leave comments on TH-cam, this deserved one though. To me, you are the new face of Lego guns, streaty is long gone and you have evolved building Lego guns to the next level, hats off mate. Also a tutorial would be amazing, even though I probably won't get to make it, completely understand if you can't make one though, it takes a lot of time!
1st it looks awesome, 2nd it has a functioning clip ejection which is cool, 3rd it actually shoots. But its weak, which I think is just a rubber band tension problem which is easy to fix. So all in all this seems like a really awesome build
Well not exactly. It's very complex. The power of the rubberband could not be much better. Because everything needs to work together. And the long barrel has some extra drag. But it is very special. To get all the features in:) So thanks for your comment;)

Let me guess, ur pulling the bolt back carefully on every shot but the last one coz the clip isn't actually held down by anything else than the bolt and would eject even with several rounds remaining? Can't be that tricky to add a lock that unlocks once the follower has reached the top.
We couldn't get much more power out this mechanism because it's way to complex. The barrel is also really long witch isn't good for the range. But thanks:) nice to see you liked the mechanism:)

Making something like this work is not easy and you have to use the dimentions close to the real rifle. also filming the mechanism is hard when u have to break open the gun.

Lego guns work better when you make a firing mech in front and the bullet doesn't go through the entire barrel, which means bullpup is better. So try making a bullpup rifle.
Well We are still suprised that we didn't break any peices during the prototyping of this mechanism. We could not have made this with all the experience we gained over the years:)

Mechanism is a bit messy, i did not understand it well on how the bolt got the shell/bullet
