I have the pleasure to watch Reik live many times and I can tell you that he is a monster!!! His voice is huge, so powerful, he does everything he wants with it, even more than in records, and just like you said, effortless... This song is beautiful and calm, but they have others which are very strong and showcase more of his vocal range, you should listen to them a bit more if you can. Great video, I really enjoyed it!

Crossing that town (it’s a border town) is Calexico where Kiki Camarena grew up. 15-20 minutes from there is El Centro where Cher was born and raised as well as Kobe Bryant’s wife. Fun facts galore

I love Reik, this song is just one of my favorites, it says the ghosts from my past are finally in peace, that is why the lights and the candles are turning on and those lights on the chairs are leaving, he finally is feeling good with the new love he has and the pain he had is finally a thing of the past.
