Despite it being the criminal underground, everyone (almost) has respect towards other players, it is almost gentlemanly world of fair play, keeping your word and promises, granting favours to each other when asked to and so on. Also, remember how Stanley Johnston left his unique watch on the bar counter and was certain that no one will touch it. It is the same thing -- everything has been running smoothly, they do not need secured deliveries or extra security as no one has dared to interfere so far and they have not attempted to drive on others' respective lanes. Yes, you can get hiccups, someone not knowing who they are and getting greedy and messing with them or they accidentally messing with others (like the case with the "little leopard lady" -- when they figured out that she is a serious player with solid backing, they apologised and tried to make amends, sacrificing a small player who had tricked them and set them up against another major player). But you are correct that Susie is correct -- these events are no longer accidental, there is a pattern and someone is trying to push them out of their lane. And your instincts have already told you who that powerful person is...
