Compare this situation with Punjab. How we felt when people from bihar came to Punjab for work which resulted in loss of job for local people. Exactly, the same is happening in Canada. If country doesn’t want what we can do. I am on study visa and we all need to think rationally.

I feel ashamed when I saw South Indian students and gujrati students the way they are putting their efforts to learn and grow. In contrast, our students are focusing on part time jobs. The clear difference is in attitude and capability. Punjabi students are not technically capable as the others.

Immigration is a burning issue so Politicians doesn't want to take stand , Northeast BC still shortage of staff , very few population less than 10000 mostly migrants working there, Indians and Filipinos , most people are done with the bad customer services there, and thats true when you got to drive thru ,10 years ago it was different than this, when we came here we were taught about Canadian culture in school and and all that but now a days thats lacking, we cant be like Canadian the way they talk or provide services our culture is different but we all have worked in Customer service industry and we can see the change , If someone came to Canada yr ago can feel that imagine what white people are feeling , they dont even care of speaking in English infront of customer, I have seen that at YVR airport ppl are waiting for their order and they just talking casually to each other at the till in punjabi Imagine if we go to Punjab and we will see ppl from up talking in hindi and providing poor services . IF people in Punjab says they are coming here and bringing there culture habits which we dont like then its same what Canadian are feeling now . We need to educate them cuz this situation will get worse . And its all blame game and all that.

Mr Thind as you said housing issues is not because of immigration but most people view it as effect of mass immigration of every kind students,refugees work permits.in fact in my view not only housing but all services including medical,schools,and infrastructure.In simple maths demand and supply we have short supply of services and massive supply of immigrants and it happed so fast our infrastructure can’t accommodate its all because of liberal government policies which we will suffer rest of our remaining life time depends upon age .

All my well educated and working proffesional friends from India just came to Toronto within last 1 year on point system fedral skilled program and all of them got good jobs in manufacturing and banking IT sector.
Donot understand why these so called canadian educated persons can not find good jobs in Canada.

Just based on their education skills and exprience from India.

LMIA means employers should ist first find and give job to Canadian citizens and PR, and if can't find then only can issue work permit to others. Canada born students can't find summer jobs because hundered thousand international students are taking their jobs.

The point is that Canada issued student visas in reckless numbers but even while doing that they NEVER said student visa is a guaranteed pathway to a PR.

Adapt and improvise. There are students who are taking up trades, healthcare jobs or studying French here after studying business. There are also students going back to India and getting work experience in an in demand sector to apply. All the students protesting are really doing themselves a disservice. Play it smart, otherwise you’ll fall behind. Entitlement will get you nowhere in the current anti immigration climate.

But during COVID she just got in to the AHS. It’s not easy for RNs either. Wait till hybrid health care, you will see a flood of non Canadian RNs. Big boys/girls know what they are doing.

The immigration of Indian especially Punjabi students can never stop to Canada. The root cause of immigration of students is their capacity to pay three/four times the fee charged by universities and colleges from locals. Governments are in no moods anywhere in the world to restore the fundings which they issued to Higher Education Institutions. Governments want to run the educational institutions for political reasons but want outsiders to pay for Canadian students as well. Both the immigrants and governments are hoping against the hope. The Canadian Higher Education superstructure would collapse in the absence of international students and this collapse would cause more political harm than the present crises.
Time for Canadians to start saving for their kids education abroad

Many people I know have been working as truck drivers in reputed companies for 8 to 10 years. Suddenly, these companies are laying them off, claiming there's less work due to the economy. But what's really happening is that they're hiring people who buy LMIAs within the company. These companies benefit by giving low wages to temporary status workers and making money from selling LMIAs.
Meanwhile, middle-class citizens who have dedicated their lives here and are just trying to support their families are getting laid off. This is becoming more common, and it's not fair. How can it be right that people who have been here for years are losing their jobs to those who have been here for just a few years on temporary status?
We're angry and frustrated. It's time to stand up and start a counter-protest against these practices. This isn't just about jobs; it's about fairness and respect for those who have built their lives here.
Is this what our country stands for? We need to take action now!
