Arcade Golden Axe 1 had better graphics, but Genesis Golden Axe 2 had the best music in the series.

That game was considered so bad they didnt even release it in england and the reviews at the time were terrible. graphics on it look way worse than the first two so doubt its any good

I really liked Golden Axe back in the day, and only ever played this once as a rental. I had forgotten how lackluster it is. Not to say Golden Axe was some masterpiece, but as a sequel you'd expect bigger and better, but if anything this looks worse. Seems like even less enemy variety than the first game had and it sounds a lot worse too.
