Just had the guys at National Speed in Wilmington install the Magnuson on my 2020 Tundra. No regrets whatsoever. The throttle response is instant even with moderate input. Push the pedal to the floor and your laughing with excitement. I'm convinced that I'm taking it to the next level with the long tube headers, smaller pulley etc... Everyone has their vices, I know what mine are.
Any issues so far and how are you enjoying it a year later?

Does the truck was have a custom tune ? Harrop site mentioned only 88 lft gain but you got 150 lft gain on a stage 1.
Was the installation done in Carolina or Virginia ?

Have yall done any tuning with turbo setups on the 3urfe, I'm hoping to be ready for tuning after the first of the year and no one upstate SC is keen on toyota tuning other than your typical 1j an 2j setups

@@NationalSpeedInc it's from a 2007 tundra rcsb. My other tundra is tuned by DAP. But if I get my build together in time, a trip to Wilmington may be in order!
Which would you say is more reliable long term the Magnuson or Harrop? Never pulled the trigger because I don't know which one lol. Would be a stage one btw on a stock tundra with trd dual exhaust.
Magnuson made the TRD Supercharger 1.9 but they have an upgrade to 2.6 SC . Look into it because it stays cooler and it’s spec to Toyotas request for reliability

Are these CARB approved? What would be the maximum mileage on a 5.7 engine that you would not recommend adding a supercharger?
if the engine is still making near factory hp specs on the dyno then it is good to go. Slap the charger on. 200-300k is fine if the engine has been maintained.
Did you change to premium fuel post supercharger? Does supercharger make you require premium fuel? What is the cost?
Correct! While this truck in particular operates on 93 octane, we have done multiple builds which still operate safely on 87 octane, although the impact to power output is considerable.

I assume they just loop that in with the 200 series Land Cruiser that he mentions at the end of the video. All parts should be interchangeable for 200 series and LX 570, no?

A friend has a supercharged Tundra 5.7, he doesn't have any mods made to it other that the Magnuson supercharged, he has killed two transmissions and he was told that the stock transmission doesn't hold up much more power than the stock 7.7 engine has, what's your experience regarding transmission reliability?
Has your friend resolved the issue? If so, how?

Hey Ronald! During cruise conditions, you should not see a change in mpg. However, that is purely dependent on how much you press that skinny pedal!

I think years ago motortrend did a test of the TRD factory supercharger setup that Toyota used to offer which was a Magnuson and they got 4.5 in a 2wd rcsb Tundra.

Its weird that you say that the supercharger makes all its gains at low and midrange rpm and then on your dyno chart you only show 3k to redline. Like you said at the beginning of the video my truck spends 90% of its time below 3k rpm.
