HawaExpo is a national level fair that focuses on the Wood & Furniture industry in Vietnam. It is endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, with the consensus and close coordination of 5 associations VIFOREST, HAWA, BIFA, DOWA, and FPA. The main exhibitors at the fair are Vietnamese manufacturers and it attracts a large number of prestigious and representative enterprises of the industry. It has an impressive and modern organisation and includes various extra activities and strong support programs for exhibitors from 5 associations. These include connecting trades before, during, and after the fair, training programs to enhance exhibitors’ capacity, updating trend seminars, and combining online exhibitions to increase promotion opportunities and find customers. The fair has a well-planned broadcasting strategy and is consulted by international media experts, focusing on key markets and new markets, and a diverse buyer segment. The organiser is experienced and has strong community connections, as well as the ability to make the most of all support resources from the Government, Associations, and Partners to gain more effective and valuable support for exhibitors.
