I noticed Alex had some good shots at Reggie when I first watched the show, but didn't realize just how many there were until Owen mentioned it in a live. So, I decided to find all of the scenes and put them into a little compilation. - เพลง

It was a joke. I am bi myself and and my gardar was just going off lmao. Also, they may have not showed it in the show because reggie wasn't out. I didn't think that reggie was bi because hes not very masculine, I just thought it because he gives me such big bi vibes. If reggie isn't bi, thats dope. I don't care. It was just a joke.

I don’t think Alex is being mean his comments are just him being sassy and sarcastic, and the looks he gives Reggie are looks of concern. I think if Alex was being mean the characters wouldn’t be friends and they are. I treat some of my friends like this it’s just a different type of friendship

I see this on two fronts. One side is his anxiety issues being like "Why do YOU get to blissfully ignore reality?" Which... isn't the nicest thing, but not always something you realize you're doing or can control. And I think sometimes Reggie will go over the top in an unconcious effort to snap Alex out of it. So, basically conflicting personalities spiraling eachother.
On the other hand- Reggie is his friend, and if he has too many unrealistic expectations, he's gonna get hurt. I feel like a good portion of Alex's snarky comments are an attempt to ground Reggie, and in that light its almost motherly. Like "Dude, think things through so I don't have to come save your ass from the hole you're digging." Which... says way more about Alex's Mom than I want to know. No wonder the kid has anxiety.
And yes, I just over analyzed a comedic choice and gave myself feels. Its just how I roll, lol.
this is just how siblings and best friends are. he doesnt "hate" him, he's just comfy enough around him to call him an idiot (affectionate)😂

Like another comment had said it’s isn’t hate as much as only I get to bully my friends. Not saying that’s it right or that people should do this but I kind of understand where Alex is coming from. I have done that in the past and I think it stems from anxiety. I have GAD and I think he might too. The show explains that’s he had anxiety, overthinks and shows other signs of GAD. Bullying Reggie to Alex is showing a form of love but it’s not healthy and should be called out. It also is the mentality of they can’t hurt me if I hurt them first. Another way to put is that oh I’ll push them away before they hurt me emotionally or in any other way. I hope that the writers manage to make Alex a little kinder to Reggie because Reggie is a sweetheart who deserves the world and Alex should learn that this isn’t a healthy way of showing platonic love.

It's perfectly healthy, you're getting way too defensive of Reggie here. Let's be honest, Reggie is a big dummy, in a good way, sure, but Alex is simply calling him out. Have you even seen Owen and Charlie's friendship? They're constantly bullying eachother and even pouring water on eachother's head or chasing and throwing things at eachother, and that's just how they show how comfortable they are with each other, and how they know that they're just joking, they trust in their friendship. It's the same with Reggie and Alex, they're great freinds and they know that, the band are like brothers.
(Edit: I'm not saying relationships like these are always healthy, or that people can't go too far with it, but this one is perfectly fine and has not done either)
