Congratulations on your Ph.D. at Oxford. I just completed my exec. Masters of Public Administration (Honors) in May. My family lived in London for the past 15 years and just returned to the USA in the past 5 years. I have done extensive research in Project Management, therefore the D.Phil Sustainable Urban Planning is compatible with my goals. P.S. I am aware that a foreign student requires a 3.7 GPA, I graduated with a 3.9 Thank You for your Inspiration, best of luck in all that you do.
i would be appreciate if you could make a video for international students (especially from middle and low-income countries), including information for scholarships funding
I just finished an MSc in Immunology (1st class) in London and want to apply to a Phd in Oncology at Oxford. I'm a little hesitant due to my undergrad GPA (did Medicine in my home country and graduated with a 3.17/4.0 GPA). I really interested in pursuing Immunotherapy research.... but I'm afraid my MD's GPA is not good enough :(
I have a different question. Did you work while completing your PhD? If yes, how did you manage a work, life n school balance? Were you able to qualify for grants n scholarships to cover your tuition? Thanks, Jouli
Hi! Wonderful video, very informative. But I have one question though. Is Masters a definite requirement? I was looking at the website and the requirements stated that you could apply with an undergraduate degree ??????
Good video, however when your friend says you are specialised forever after a phd, this is not the case, the wet lab skills you obtain during the phd are extremely transferable across all of bioscience research. For example one of my favourite collaborators started live with a plant biology phD before moving into cancer sciences.
Hello dear i wanna do PHD from Oxford University '' recently i have completed my Msc=Ms (in Mathematics honours) '''i am from India, is there any entrance to take admission in Oxford in phd exam for phd '' how to take admission please suggest me 😭
The only problem is that British Students speak too quickly for an international student to understand. All what it takes is someone just to talk slower for us to catch what she is saying.
I did not perform well at school and undergraduate but in M.Sc I surprisingly got an A with 87% marks Should I think about oxford or they will reject me just because i did not perform back in schools?
Atousa, I have a question! Can I just say this was a great and informative video, but I still have a million and one questions :(((( Would it be possible if you can message me Chelsea's email if she's able to do so? It would help me so much and I would be INCREDIBLY grateful
a PhD in Oxford seems like a pretty good idea after Master, Thanks you two!

Can you interview an MRes engineering science student from Oxford? It would help as there is no such video on TH-cam.

Master's is an advantage but not a requirement

Do you have to write a thesis proposal when applying for a phd?
On their website it says that you have to write smth basically saying what you wanna research. I'd assume that's a thesis proposal
The only problem is that British Students speak too quickly for an international student to understand. All what it takes is someone just to talk slower for us to catch what she is saying.
See you soon there
I am Searching PhD, if you can help Me...I will be glad

this is v late but email the admissions department and ask!
Totally useless advice a year later but school grades don’t matter at all for PhD. I got terrible A levels and have an interview with Oxford
