Convenience store isn't that much of a trap. I'd say if you are properly building just 1 team (yes, you need 2 later, but you always should focus 1 first), then you'll be fine for dennies. Dennies come in at a daily rate and steady supply, where as the materials in the shop are only obtainable through battery usage and/or events. Eventually as in all gacha games, you will be swimming in the generic currency at some point down the line. It aids progression, even if the denny conversion is not 1:1 for amount spent to amount obtained for battery usage. Build your account appropriately and there will be no shortage of generic currency. In Wuwa (different game, I know), I've built all but 2 characters on my account and I'm strapped for Shell Credits, but through events/milestones/dailies, it put me back on track. However when I run out of Echo/Character exp, I will have no choice but to either refresh or wait. For about 1 day, I had no shell credits and now I have plenty + no shortage of progression materials. I really think people shouldn't be as frugal when it comes to permanent account upgrades such as character and skill leveling, especially for the cost of generic currency. I'll be buying this shop out every week and if I remember this comment, I'll come back and reply as to how I'm doing and when I run out of currency.

This. 100% agree everything feels like a natural unlock as opposed to “Rush story then start grind model of other games. I’m surprised as to the amount story events the game throws at you and that too at a steady clip. I almost don’t wanna run out of content now 😢
My only problem with farming and with the game in general is stamina regeneration. You genuinely can do 3 battles a day. Is way slower taking end game in consideration.
@@shorty4224 that’s the thing you feel, while in reality most other games have 20 level break points and not 8. After playing gacha games for 6 years Hoyo games are one of the most chill, there is fking AFK journey that takes more time than HSR + Genshin + wuwa combined. And characters are powercreped every months while in Hoyo games I still clear all content with some of 1.0 patch characters.

Do not rush, there is no reason for that. Hoyo games is about story, always was and always be. If you not interested in the story than you will always be in position you right now.

Receiving 0 of the highest grade material is kinda normal for gachas. In star rail my account is max level and theres a lot of times that i get 0 golden materials when farming mats.
@@Tylysia It kinda is. In a lot of gacha games u r not guaranteed to get the highest ranked material everytime, thats why in most games u can craft lower ranked materials into higher ones. From more casual games like BA, AK, AL, to more farming intensive games like e7, gbf.

Feeling like the amount of stuff you can use charge on is ridiculous. You don't need to spend resin for crystals in genshin, it's not the only source for them. There's just too many things to use charge on not enough charge to gear a character easily.
Yeah, the lack of energy/the number of stuff energy is used for is ridiculous. It seemed fine at first, but then more and more stuff unlocked all of which demanded the same resource, and that resource doesn't even seem to full recover over 24 hours!?

This is the problem i have with youtubers, they look at something and say it's shit without even trying to understand why or how the thing is like that. Also the strength difference between a team that clears in 4m32s vs a team that clears in 5m18s isn't as big as you make it out to be. Especially when you take into account that the boss for the first team was a boss that moves away a lot

Im only chillin bcoz I have so many games to play, I only do dailies on week day bcoz it takes me 4hours to do all of my games dailies and then got sleepy. then work in the morning until 6pm.

Explore more, play through the time reset and rest to skip a quarter of daily time. And hover over your map or press M, look for a blue dot and hover over it and explore the map. There are a lot of hidden quest you need to speak to random NPC and not just talk you have to read in order for you to know what that NPC wants because it wont auto lead you to the commision some are puzzles and some are waiting for some one that have been trapped or in other areas.

I dunno, I’m really liking the game. I got the characters I wanted, got to lvl 33 and now I’m just enjoying the combat within the hollow zone. Even if this doesn’t get a multiplayer mode, im definitely content for a bit. Couldn’t stand the crashing in Wuthering waves

I have played on my phone only until like the end of prologue, downloaded into my ps5 and have gone farther. I have the main 3 Billy, Nicole, and Anby lvl 30, and Corin 20. Haven't pulled for anything besides the Bangboo. So that's how i got my engines for Nicole, Corin, and Billy for now. Seeing how far I can get minimally before i start pulling and trying for some sets if i get multiple pulls. I liked learning and hearing about this stuff since I'm big in HSR on my ps5 so trying to decide how I want to maneuver with the synthesiser thing. I have 6 Bangboo. Bagboo at 4 Star lvl 20, Electroboo 2 star lvl 17, Boollseye 1 star lvl 10 and Devilboo 1 star lvl 10. The 4 that are probably best useable for the 4 characters and team rotations where I'm at with Inter-Knot 21. Knowing not to upgrade gear to much is fantastic too know until 40 cause I can just focus on the minimal i have plus the added Soukaku when I get to chapter 2. So I'll have 5 of 6 characters and then go back through hard. Thank you for the insightful video.

13:12, if you click the exlamation icon near the denny cost it can show you all the materials each lvl, and the special material is only for lvl 12, but i dont know how to aquire it tho.
Convenient store is a straight up scam, rn some of you may feel like you'll never need dennies, but believe me when I say that every zzz player will at least be short on dennies once in their playtime, and it won't feel good, also if you do the maths, you'll see that these materials are not cost efficient at all
You're right. There are stepping stones for dennies. We will all get there soon enough. You'll find a 100k denny upgrade, then 200k, etc. Save 'em up and don't waste 'em. Play the long game and collect as much as you can.

If Genshin's Gold talent books experience is any indicator, we can likely expect zero to abysmal drop for top-tier materials. The total waste of time farming experience at top adventure rank is likely going to happen all over again when we look at GI setting the precedence, and HSR is also following that formula. ZZZ won't be an exception.
DO NOT BUY FROM THE CONVENIENCE STORE Even setting aside that you WILL need those dennies later, converting the costs to energy shows that it is absolutely not worth it. You are spending anywhere from 2x to 5x the actual energy cost to farm the items when you buy them from that shop.
Both in Genshin and HSR you will seat on millions of mora/credits. In Genshin I never farm mora or was in situation where I need mora, in 4 years never once. In HSR I was because I lvlup every characters to max I did get to the point that I was short on credits. In wuwa on the other hand even with Free apology gifts I get short on money after 2 weeks of playing, it takes 2 times more money in wuwa, because you must waste money on echo reroll, you simply can’t decide good echo or bad before lvlup…
Yeah but dennies are free and charge is time gated/money gated so the comparison is bad. I can spend dennies for mats or recharge my energy to farm mats and one of those is a smarter choice
ive done 3 100 energy runs to get the promotional material to get my agents to 50. i need 10 and only got 1 in those 3 runs. feels awful. am i just supposed to buy polys so i can spam more energy? i just wanna grind my character progression. even with low rates i dont mind, but like. come on man. i really enjoyed grinding my characters but these zero rates are ass. like id rather just play something else then....
So, one thing the game has is a huge underlying story of taking care of yourself and not doing too much in one day. The mechanics force you to sleep and eat and take personal time. Compared to other HoYo games, it's got characters that genuinely care and are good people. Unlike HSR where everyone is guilty of Crimes against humanity.
If you play genshin and hsr you'll see that's nothing wrong with the upgrade material drop as genshin and star rail also do the same imo...for example talent in genshin and traces in star rail...1 run basically will give you nothing at minimum and its the same with zzz tho...that includes the level mats

We have absolutely seen the chance to recieve 0 of the highest tier mats in both Genshin and Star Rail. Thats standard. Its basically the exact same drop rates in ZZZ. You really need to check this stuff before yapping, my guy.
such an L mihoyo(yet again) 0-5 is such bull xD i 100% agree with you and ye maybe this is fixed once u hit lvl 50(and even then best case scenario is gonna be 2-6 or something) but REALISTICLY at this stage of the game u happy u hitting 40. 50 is gonna be a loooooong ass time even if they like add new story in 1.1 especially considering that zzz is like hsr where u cant really "add" content to each area maybe a few chests here and there and a few side quests but thats it. Ice element is head and shoulders above all other elements. Other elements are either DOT or one massive damage. Ice is crit-oriented and still has massive damage at the end. Ice will always be meta. And i fucking hate it
Electric team is just as good, Fire teams are good, too. People are just too dumb to build decent teams. In this video example, he uses grace as DPS although she is an anomaly unit that needs Anton as a carry.

Thanks for that, I stopped playing ZZZ because it was starting to feel too much like Genshin, and I didn't want to play two gacha that were too similar to each other at the same time. And yup, from the looks of it they are about 80% similar.
Grace honestly just sucks as a dps... Nekomata, Piper and Nicole team and Ellen+2, Sokaku+6 and Corin+3 team get around the same times for me. Give or take a couple seconds either way depending on how often nekomata's 33% kicks in. Even with the level gap they come through with the S ranks albeit cutting it extremely close
because Grace is not a traditional dps, think of her as Kafka from HSR, she does reaction damage like sucrose does in genshin, a lot of reaction damage and bypass daze because she fills it fast
@@theguest103 That's not exactly true, Nekomata and Soldier 11 aren't limited and Piper, Anton and Corin also do comparable dps to those 2. Grace just isn't supposed to be a main dps, her base attack is relatively low.

I really like the combat sistem of ZZZ BUT the INVENTORY IS JUST HELL XD, you have to memorize sooo many things... The game COVERLY tricks you to forget what material you need to level up something AND SOMEHOW ENCOURAGES YOU TO SPEND MONEY to avoid that memory problem. I LIKE the game somehow, although it feels very empty and nonsense... I hope they could fix many but many things they did at launch... However i think the know more than well what are they doing so as a semi f2p player I fell like i will play this game only sometimes and maybe unistall if i need space in my pc XD regards bros.
Actually, I kind of like not having to sort a thousand things in my inventory. This game isn't perfect, but it does not do what you just described. It does not 'covertly trick' anyone into anything. A competent player can easily sort out the information presented by the game without mistake, and it's easy to find again. Anytime you need to switch between dialogue-windows to double-check something, it is effortless. Most complaints about this game are handled by the skip (spacebar) button. I installed Zenless two days before launch for pre-download, and since release, I have yet to have an unexpected game-crash or error of any kind. I'm very impressed that I didn't see any technical failures during launch at all, while having the client opened, possibly for more than over 10 hours a day. The Zenless devs should be proud of themselves, that's quite an accomplishment. I come from playing Helldivers 2 for the last few months, and the difference in game-stability is incomparable between HD2 to Zenless. Zenless has absolutely outstanding stability and integrity. For HD2, it's not a matter of "if" it will crash, but "when" and in which manner. Zenless Zone Zero does not crash for me, nor do I expect it to crash. I think we need to appreciate this in itself! Great work Z3 devs!

you can see that each monster gives you 0-1 materials, so its 0-5 for 5 monsters

It does refill. You earn 6 a minute for 10 an hour. 24 hours gets you 240 charge at which point it stops regnerating.

I disagree because you can simply use the older upgraded disks, let's say good purple disks, as fodder for your gold disks. It's well worth it to push content for materials and polychrome.

I have played on my phone only until like the end of prologue, downloaded into my ps5 and have gone farther. I have the main 3 Billy, Nicole, and Anby lvl 30, and Corin 20. Haven't pulled for anything besides the Bangboo. So that's how i got my engines for Nicole, Corin, and Billy for now. Seeing how far I can get minimally before i start pulling and trying for some sets if i get multiple pulls. I liked learning and hearing about this stuff since I'm big in HSR on my ps5 so trying to decide how I want to maneuver with the synthesiser thing. I have 6 Bangboo. Bagboo at 4 Star lvl 20, Electroboo 2 star lvl 17, Boollseye 1 star lvl 10 and Devilboo 1 star lvl 10. The 4 that are probably best useable for the 4 characters and team rotations where I'm at with Inter-Knot 21. Knowing not to upgrade gear to much is fantastic too know until 40 cause I can just focus on the minimal i have plus the added Soukaku when I get to chapter 2. So I'll have 5 of 6 characters and then go back through hard. Thank you for the insightful video.

13:12, if you click the exlamation icon near the denny cost it can show you all the materials each lvl, and the special material is only for lvl 12, but i dont know how to aquire it tho.
Convenient store is a straight up scam, rn some of you may feel like you'll never need dennies, but believe me when I say that every zzz player will at least be short on dennies once in their playtime, and it won't feel good, also if you do the maths, you'll see that these materials are not cost efficient at all
You're right. There are stepping stones for dennies. We will all get there soon enough. You'll find a 100k denny upgrade, then 200k, etc. Save 'em up and don't waste 'em. Play the long game and collect as much as you can.

If Genshin's Gold talent books experience is any indicator, we can likely expect zero to abysmal drop for top-tier materials. The total waste of time farming experience at top adventure rank is likely going to happen all over again when we look at GI setting the precedence, and HSR is also following that formula. ZZZ won't be an exception.

Even setting aside that you WILL need those dennies later, converting the costs to energy shows that it is absolutely not worth it. You are spending anywhere from 2x to 5x the actual energy cost to farm the items when you buy them from that shop.
I do what I want
Both in Genshin and HSR you will seat on millions of mora/credits. In Genshin I never farm mora or was in situation where I need mora, in 4 years never once. In HSR I was because I lvlup every characters to max I did get to the point that I was short on credits. In wuwa on the other hand even with Free apology gifts I get short on money after 2 weeks of playing, it takes 2 times more money in wuwa, because you must waste money on echo reroll, you simply can’t decide good echo or bad before lvlup…
Yeah but dennies are free and charge is time gated/money gated so the comparison is bad. I can spend dennies for mats or recharge my energy to farm mats and one of those is a smarter choice
Every boopon is a limited currency, get it or you risk slowing your bangboo progression.

ive done 3 100 energy runs to get the promotional material to get my agents to 50. i need 10 and only got 1 in those 3 runs. feels awful. am i just supposed to buy polys so i can spam more energy? i just wanna grind my character progression. even with low rates i dont mind, but like. come on man.
i really enjoyed grinding my characters but these zero rates are ass. like id rather just play something else then....
So, one thing the game has is a huge underlying story of taking care of yourself and not doing too much in one day. The mechanics force you to sleep and eat and take personal time. Compared to other HoYo games, it's got characters that genuinely care and are good people. Unlike HSR where everyone is guilty of Crimes against humanity.
If you play genshin and hsr you'll see that's nothing wrong with the upgrade material drop as genshin and star rail also do the same imo...for example talent in genshin and traces in star rail...1 run basically will give you nothing at minimum and its the same with zzz tho...that includes the level mats

Lv35 right now, enjoyed the game. The only thing I hate is the TV thing. It's fine in the main story, but other than that, it feels like a chore.
it does feel like it takes away sometimes especially if your focus is combat, but i will be honest and admit that i really liked the turret-defense plants vs zombie mode!
I always take this chance to relax from smashing buttons. Consider it as your resting time while still playing the game 😂

We have absolutely seen the chance to recieve 0 of the highest tier mats in both Genshin and Star Rail. Thats standard. Its basically the exact same drop rates in ZZZ. You really need to check this stuff before yapping, my guy.

50 is gonna be a loooooong ass time even if they like add new story in 1.1 especially considering that zzz is like hsr where u cant really "add" content to each area maybe a few chests here and there and a few side quests but thats it.

Ice element is head and shoulders above all other elements. Other elements are either DOT or one massive damage. Ice is crit-oriented and still has massive damage at the end. Ice will always be meta. And i fucking hate it
Electric team is just as good, Fire teams are good, too. People are just too dumb to build decent teams. In this video example, he uses grace as DPS although she is an anomaly unit that needs Anton as a carry.

Thanks for that, I stopped playing ZZZ because it was starting to feel too much like Genshin, and I didn't want to play two gacha that were too similar to each other at the same time. And yup, from the looks of it they are about 80% similar.

Grace honestly just sucks as a dps... Nekomata, Piper and Nicole team and Ellen+2, Sokaku+6 and Corin+3 team get around the same times for me. Give or take a couple seconds either way depending on how often nekomata's 33% kicks in. Even with the level gap they come through with the S ranks albeit cutting it extremely close
Play grace with Anton, should improve. Obviously best case is if U also have rina

because Grace is not a traditional dps, think of her as Kafka from HSR, she does reaction damage like sucrose does in genshin, a lot of reaction damage and bypass daze because she fills it fast
@@theguest103 That's not exactly true, Nekomata and Soldier 11 aren't limited and Piper, Anton and Corin also do comparable dps to those 2. Grace just isn't supposed to be a main dps, her base attack is relatively low.

Artifacts never was a problem in Hoyo games, it’s the people, all this dudes who think you must have perfect crit rolls arts to make characters playable, while in reality you just slap mid gear and clear content.

Besides the relic system is ass regardless because it's purely luck based w/ no guarantees or ways to get actually something good other than grinding domains until you get lucky. I really like the combat sistem of ZZZ BUT the INVENTORY IS JUST HELL XD, you have to memorize sooo many things... The game COVERLY tricks you to forget what material you need to level up something AND SOMEHOW ENCOURAGES YOU TO SPEND MONEY to avoid that memory problem. I LIKE the game somehow, although it feels very empty and nonsense... I hope they could fix many but many things they did at launch... However i think the know more than well what are they doing so as a semi f2p player I fell like i will play this game only sometimes and maybe unistall if i need space in my pc XD regards bros.
Actually, I kind of like not having to sort a thousand things in my inventory. This game isn't perfect, but it does not do what you just described. It does not 'covertly trick' anyone into anything. A competent player can easily sort out the information presented by the game without mistake, and it's easy to find again. Anytime you need to switch between dialogue-windows to double-check something, it is effortless.
Most complaints about this game are handled by the skip (spacebar) button.
I installed Zenless two days before launch for pre-download, and since release, I have yet to have an unexpected game-crash or error of any kind. I'm very impressed that I didn't see any technical failures during launch at all, while having the client opened, possibly for more than over 10 hours a day. The Zenless devs should be proud of themselves, that's quite an accomplishment.
I come from playing Helldivers 2 for the last few months, and the difference in game-stability is incomparable between HD2 to Zenless.
Zenless has absolutely outstanding stability and integrity.
For HD2, it's not a matter of "if" it will crash, but "when" and in which manner.
Zenless Zone Zero does not crash for me, nor do I expect it to crash. I think we need to appreciate this in itself!
