Selling off all the gold after a global financial crash was a political choice, hardly down to Labour when you look at the bill itself that we're still paying off. What are we now paying off because of a Tory gov't, extreme sports edition of tax cuts? PPE contracts, privatisation and the ilk, pull the other one Zaba
You do know that IOU is a joke that started long before Gordon Brown was in power. The conservatives used it as a tool to allow themselves to sell off the NHS and other things
@TheLukeLambert I don't need to pull the other one we all know the way this government is going and when preference is shown to illegals before our own that is dreadful and people are now realising the amount of our taxes that are being spent let's just wait and see labours incompetence
@thequest They have time on their hands They are addicted to making their opinions heard GMB is tilting rightwards and has a lot of Old Tories opening here Nadine Dorries and her 'politics of envy' and 'these parents have suffered / struggled to send their children to private schools'. Spare us the violins!
When someone starts an answer with "Look", it's an immediate switch off. I'm not going to Look and I'm not going to Listen, particularly when you roll out all the problems that Labour have been left which you apparently didn't know about, NOT!!!
GP practices are independent businesses that are contracted to provide services for the NHS. Staff working in general practice are usually employed directly by the GP practice and not by the NHS. Reminder for those thinking GP's are focused on the interest of the NHS.
Somebody just told me about a private school cancelling a new roof contract that was out to tender, and they said the school is going to reduce its fees and lay off some full time maintenance staff. So, not sure how this is going to make Labour supporters feel happy.
Private schools have increased their fees every year by well above the rate of inflation. The staff and head teachers all earn more than the PM. They can't cry poverty now.
Lie after lie, they didn’t disclose the truth of their tax plans in the manifesto and said growth would pay for everything. Now 40bn extra tax and huge borrowing they will mostly hand over to their mates in the public sector. Their effort will actually reduce growth according to all the independent experts. What a joke.😊
Does it not occur to Caroline Flint that, older less strong UK workers cannot compete for work with the millions of young immigrants being allowed into the country? 7.5 million EU citizen applications for UK settled status is more the 10% of the UK population - nevermind the UK workforce.
Here they go again! Letting Labour person speak and cutting off the Conservative speaker! GMB again doing what they do, impartial broadcasting! Pull the other one, don't make me laugh ITV!
Go watch GB news if all you want is right wingers spouting nonsense and complaining about everything! ☁️✊🏻👴🏻 All I could hear was her whining throughout the whole thing!
Getting angry at Labour for making these decisions in the budget is like getting angry at a new neighbour that has just moved in, deciding to do essential work on their house, and there is scaffolding which you have to see and you don’t like it. Rather than get angry at the previous neighbours who let the house get into disrepair but because you couldn’t see the internal problems you did not care.
Why didn't she reverse the 2% cut to employees' NICs which was introduced in March and bring in a wealth tax. What happened to the idea of those with the broadest shoulders will bear the cost?
All for the schools challenging. Those who send their children to independent schools who have special needs because the state schools can't help them. What are they going to do now?
40 billion £ to be paid for in extra taxes. Paid for by about 66 million people. So every family of 4 people have to find an extra £2400 a year in extra taxes and how many are working?
Something big, detailed, and complex gets announced. Why not get someone on from the IFS to get into what it means for people? Instead you've had Nadine Dorries, a women so thick she needs a tog rating, and Kwasi Kwarteng, the worst chancellor in the history of the country. Your divisive editorial decisions are hurting this country
Would this liebour lady please explain in detail just where and what and how they come to this "black hole " ????? I also have great pity for her husband - if she has one. I am also disturbed that they dare wear a Poppy!!
I love this about the nhs. I want that doctor that was on the programme saying how GP'S are the front line of medical needs. In the last four years I've wanted to see a GP twice so phoned up and both times I was told an appointment was out of the question and to phone 111 or go to a&e. There are 8 doctors at my practice and I have been there to see nurse on 3 occasions and I sat there alone couldn't see anyone else there to see a doctor. The covid pandemic allowed them not to see patients and they've carried on with it
The corporates demand the economy is championed with neo classical economics and Labour obliged. No regard for peoples life quality or the environment. At least Truss was open about her ideology. You reap what you sow.
Nadine Dorries when she says if this was a good budget we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Remember the same people criticising this budget: Daily Mail, The Telegraph, Spectator, GB News, Talk Tv etc were praising Liz Truss and Kwesi Kwarteng’s budget, there was no conversation until the bond markets collapsed, interest rates went up and Rishi Sunak was vindicated after being accused of mansplaining
the NHS need more drs & nurses especially nurses with decent pay those nurses who leave the NHS their so disheartened as they dont get the recognition they deserve.& if you walk .round hospitals they have ward closures & clinics because of under staffing.its not all about throwing in money.its staff they need.
I note the presenters let the labour commentator speak but interrupt the conservative commentator. Also they don't admonish the labour commentator for continously interrupting. This is why I don't watch main steam media they are so biased they can't even ge bothered to hide i😡
Sick of listening to their debt last time they were in power they left an IOU in the till

Get help Christine
@luciansanchez9533 I will i will vote reform in the local elections
Why do these ex MP's who have lost their seats get a platform on TV.
@thequest
They have time on their hands
They are addicted to making their opinions heard
GMB is tilting rightwards and has a lot of Old Tories opening here
Nadine Dorries and her 'politics of envy' and 'these parents have suffered / struggled to send their children to private schools'.
Spare us the violins!
The same reason as why you have former sports players commentating and analysing sporting events
Otherwise they would be sitting on a park bench drinking Cider, eating crisps !!! or on GMB talking S@@@
The presenters showing their biases here yet again 😂
quite agree it is scandelous, it was a complete accident i watched this... it really is unbelievable how biased it is
When someone starts an answer with "Look", it's an immediate switch off. I'm not going to Look and I'm not going to Listen, particularly when you roll out all the problems that Labour have been left which you apparently didn't know about, NOT!!!
Agree
GP practices are independent businesses that are contracted to provide services for the NHS. Staff working in general practice are usually employed directly by the GP practice and not by the NHS. Reminder for those thinking GP's are focused on the interest of the NHS.
And more and more GP practices are now owned by American private equity firms, same happening to vets surgeries.
Ah yes, the fictional £22 billion black hole.
Perhaps instead of giving 3bn to Ukraine for 'as long as it takes' they should give it to the farmers: who feed working people.
Somebody just told me about a private school cancelling a new roof contract that was out to tender, and they said the school is going to reduce its fees and lay off some full time maintenance staff. So, not sure how this is going to make Labour supporters feel happy.

No surprises there then
Go watch GB news if all you want is right wingers spouting nonsense and complaining about everything! ☁️✊🏻👴🏻 All I could hear was her whining throughout the whole thing!
The billions on the NHS, mostly goes on American companies, making billions in profits. Why else would they do this work,
Don’t forget to mention the black hole as many times as you can 😂😂
It really is time to ban labour guests from trotting out the " black hole and we inherited this terrible situation. "
It's getting old now
The reason there is much debt is because of COVID. During which time labour wanted to spend more!
The reason there is so much debt is because of the American banks sending everything t*ts up in 2008.
Even know they wasn't in power that was down to the tories and people braking covid rules
No it's not. What about all the dodgy deals and payouts to conservative friends? Let's stop lying
Nice try. Labour was in opposition during Covid.
Tories handed out lucrative contracts to mates.
Michele Mone and her husband bought a new yacht with their 'profits' from PPE.
Awful budget. But can we please have less Nadine Dorries on TV. At any cost.
Getting angry at Labour for making these decisions in the budget is like getting angry at a new neighbour that has just moved in, deciding to do essential work on their house, and there is scaffolding which you have to see and you don’t like it. The NHS is an endless money pit, no matter how much money you put into it it's not enough .
Too much wasted
@judithmorganjudyteen top bosses getting huge pay isn't helping either.
Why didn't she reverse the 2% cut to employees' NICs which was introduced in March and bring in a wealth tax. What happened to the idea of those with the broadest shoulders will bear the cost?

Stop money going abroad, stop the boats coming might help 😮

Funny its always someone else fault - why can they not grow up as adults
Garraway sits back when politics is the main talking point..she cant ask questions as she is out of her depth
Would this liebour lady please explain in detail just where and what and how they come to this "black hole " ????? I also have great pity for her husband - if she has one. I am also disturbed that they dare wear a Poppy!!

Caroline Flint And Nadine Dorries. I like Caroline but then I like Nadine. How do I decide who's best? FIGHT!
stop going on about the debt the previous gov left them they are trying to cover up THEIR DEBT
Rich of AgeUK saying it will affect their ability to help old people whilst receiving endorsement from politicians who voted against the WFA.
Nadine Dorries when she says if this was a good budget we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Labour and the Tories are the same. Both corrupt and ran by big business and foreign entities.
Don't blame Labour blame the cons.
The greedy Market good
Why on tv ti be fair
the NHS need more drs & nurses especially nurses with decent pay those nurses who leave the NHS their so disheartened as they dont get the recognition they deserve.& if you walk .round hospitals they have ward closures & clinics because of under staffing.its not all about throwing in money.its staff they need.
Should we really be listening to Nadin Doris. Should we listen to Tory clowns 🤡

Typical labour supporters
Instead of fixing the black hole that is the NHS - just throw more money at it 🤡
Issues need fixing for all .. not just some 🤔🤔🙄🙄
Private schools are a luxury item.. so must pay VAT.. 🤔🤔🙄
All shame people waiting long time for any appointments at hospital and you need more money right shame
Norine was constantly interrupted during this interview by one and all but she didn't interrupt flint once - the left can stand the truth.
Go, Nadine. You're looking 20 years younger
Must be the hairdresser she was going on about 😂
I would
ITV covering real news wow
