Puma shoes are a revelation. After Nike shoes kept letting me down on the basketball court I tried a pair of Pumas and never went back. These are my first pair of Puma runners so fingers crossed.

Thanks for introducing me to Puma shoes. For a non-speedy, price sensitive person, who runs mainly on light trails, they really tick all the boxes. I have had the Fast Trac Nitro for a few months now and love it. Will be keeping an eye out for when this one goes on offer too.

I just grabbed a pair of these for £67 and I did so because I love my Puma Voyage Nitro 3's so much that I wanted to drop them from my gym/work out rotation and put them into my daily wear rotation before they get too smelly. I first tried the Puma Nitro foam earlier this year and I wish I had a lot sooner! I know it's all going to be quite a personal thing, but Nitro foam strikes a perfect mid way balance between cushioning and energy return. Any time I have a longer walk/all day wear requirements I reach for the Voyage Nitros out of my gym bag ... so that happened and now I need a pair of daily treadmill trainers for 10-15k at around a 5:30k/m pace and I reckon these are spot on.

Great review guys. Having just purchased a pair of these and completed a 15k run. As someone who is regularly training for half and full marathons I have always used a neutral shoe. My running gait has changed progressively over the last couple of years however, and I find my feet riding through supination to over pronation. I have therefore found a need to slot a pair of support shoes into my routine for easy runs. I can totally agree/relate to the vast majority of your comments re this shoe; how it compares to others, particularly the comparison to deviate nitro (a very underrated shoe for the money), I would agree that this just soaks up miles, but only at one pace, I.e. it’s not good at picking up or holding higher paces, and leaves you needing extra effort due to the lack of pop or response. One thing I would disagree on through is the level of stability, I found that the shoe was putting my feet firmly into both a stable and unusual position, maybe that’s why I found it such hard work to hold a higher pace, that said and as mentioned, this is my first stability pair.

I absolutely love mine. Have two pairs on rotation. Brilliant daily trainer. Super comfortable. Love where Puma are heading.

You guys did the best job of defining the space, and runner usage targeted! Thanks for taking the time to review!

As a neutral runner, this model intrigues me. I’ve really enjoyed the Velocity Nitro 1. Given the similar price point, how would you choose between this & the Tempus?

I'd love to hear any similarities with the Velocity Nitro 2

Fantastic review. Excited about this shoe as a Puma VN2 fan. Hoping you'll get the opportunity to review the Liberate 2 as well.
If I pick up the FR Nitro, do you think there's still a place for VN2 in a rotation?

Great review as always. But guys, when you say" true to size" and show your feet in shoes and move toes, it's obvious that there are a lot of free space (like a finger or an inch of width) between your toes and a front of the shoes. What do you actually mean saying" true to size"? Does that mean you usually order shoes with an inch of free space and the shoes just fit as you like it? Because it is confusing especially when people ordering online.

It is accurate it does fit true to size, but it's a wide forefoot and toe box area. I didn't get a great fit with the Puma insoles, but swapped them out for specific neutral ones and it's improved. Wouldn't recommend for people with narrow feet.

I'm torn between this one and the Saucony Triumph 21. Both are on sale but the Saucony is 30% more expensive.

Question is what is the midfoot width like...is it wider than the Velocity which is really narrow in the mid foot...as a PF sufferer i don't necessarily need a stabilty shoe but a wider platform is beneficial

Could the Puma forever run nitro be a good marathon distance shoe? Thank you in advance 🙂

Long run shoe, not really a race shoe. Didn't fit me well until replacing insoles

Always used support shoes for overpronation. Currently rotate between gt 2000 & kayano but I'm finding the kayanos too soft underfoot. Looking for something that I can pick up the pace in to rotate with my GTs. Would like to try the tempus, new balance 860/vongo, brooks glycerin/adrenaline. My nearest running store an hours drive away 😢

I’m getting over a 5th metatarsal partial break injury and am looking for a comfortable shoe to walk in. I’m not a runner, but am looking for a light, stable shoe. Are these the ones for me?
    All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧

What's the arch profile in this compared to the Tempus? Would the ForeverRun Nitro be comfortable for a runner with low arches?

    • @outerheaven8797
      @outerheaven8797 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

Completely flat insoles, possible to change insoles for ones specifically designed for low arches
