My father, Rainer, was the guitarist....he would be so happy to see you reacting to his solo...as I am. Thank you! 😍

This man who has a beautiful voice is actually a woman: Inga Rumpf. You are not the first one to mistake her for a man though.

Hey Dirtypans, thanks for your reaction! And for picking my request!
If you liked the band you should also check their song ''How The Gypsy Was Born'', you gonna love it too. There is a live version from this same performance that is awesome.
About the lyrics, i don't think they have a deep meaning. I guess is just a song about tragedy, or illusion. ''Take care of illusion, it shares with confusion''

If you like this i'd recommend a band called "Stone the Crows" ft. the amazing Maggie Bell on Vocals (aka the Scottish Janis Joplin), Try songs:
"Raining in Your Heart" (studio version)
    "Freedom Road" (Live, 6min version)
    "Sad Mary".

Krautrock (also called kosmische Musik, German for "cosmic music")

I would only count some krautrock bands into cosmic music. Stuff like amon düül. Frumpy definitely not

I wouldn't put too much effort in trying to find a meaning behind the lyrics. I always found Frumpy lyrics pretty terrible for the most part..
I don't think 1970s Germans were really fluent in English so I think they didn't put to much thought in it.
