Seriously... Teenagers may not understand this unless they've dealt with an awkward situation themselves so this scene is not unrealistic per se, but older women usually cringe. It's so manipulative and disrespectful to the other person when you confess/ propose in such a public way. I think Geon-hu will fit much, much better with Hae-ee's tight knit family.
