Cuz, when I marched bk in 1976 at NCA&TSU we were happy to be on local news 🗞, the only time local news showed up on campus was of a tragedy, so I appreciate seeing all these HBCU Marching Cultures or Styles, an love each other while you having fun, we from the same hood,,,, EARTH,,,,,be competitive and respectful ,,,,, HBCU’s,,,,,,🙏🏾

I only like it when the song is playing. But it is not the best entrance. Sorry not sorry. Entrances like Prairie View A&M University Marching Storm and NCA&T, are more entertaining. You can actually dance to them the whole time.
I’ve never understood why people on sidelines never give the band enough room but you better believe that we always make it work fa sho…it’s because people just love that beat and it fascinates them but band is a lot of work…long hot summer camp and practicing on the field @5am whether it’s rain or shine you cannot sho up if you don’t want to but when that band director finish chewing you out you man/woman up like never before…how I know because I was in band our band was so big that we took up the whole field now keep in mind this is high school but we had guitars chimes etc., and one of the baddddddest percussion line to be a high school band..Can’t nobody lift that leg up like them JSETTES!!!!🤩 JSU is a beast when they enter can’t nobody do it better than them sorry those are just facts☝️💯💯

You have to remember the last time JSU marched in one of TSU's football players broke their drum majors ranks then commenced to yelling obscenities at the band. I can see why security may be on edge from that point on.

I’m sorry to say this but…the J5 of 2021 are the weakest when It comes to their dance routine on “Getting Ready!” They do more marching than choreography. The J5 of previous years GIVE YOU A MINI SHOW!
