Mark: Calmly and methodically washes one surface at a time, making sure everything is cleaned in a neat, orderly fashion, using each different nozzle strategically to do the most efficient job. Arin: Draws a squiggle on one surface with the worst possible nozzle, then gets bored and moves to a different area.
Funny that they talk about Mark and then later on talk about how this game kinda makes you get introspective. I remember Mark getting really philosophical during his playthrough.

I love that you brought this up because I literally just learned about it in class-I'm interested in cognition and criminal psychology The Thematic Aperception Test (TAT) is the psychological evaluation where someone is shown photos showing some scene/interaction. For each one, they are told to give a story based on the picture (the story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end). It is a good way to figure out, specifically, someone's motives. For instance, if there's an image of two people in a store talking and smiling, and the story one person comes up with is "well, the girl on the left is trying to swindle the girl on the right out of money, so she's playing nice..." that tells you this person might have different motives from someone who says "the two of them were out shopping for shoes for tonight's party, and they are smiling about the last time everyone got together" The first person is likely manipulative and has a high need for power, while the second person is likely less manipulative and has a high need for affiliation/friendship. It's a much better way to learn about motives than just asking "how manipulative are you," since obviously that's easy to lie about, and criminals could lie about themselves for gain. The main drawback is that there is no objective way to score the test, so it doesn't have great inter-rater reliability-in other words, two different psychologist might come to two different conclusions about someone based on the same story, so while it's useful, it's not entirely reliable.

Neither of those can really be messed up just because someone else is looking at the data, so those studies would have much stronger inter-rater reliability. It was animated, and these kids were way too excited about the health benefits of cranberry juice being told to them by Grandma. They would sign off with their slogan "where's the cranny, Granny?" and it would leave poor 8 year old me feeling rather uncomfortable. As someone who has done power washing for multiple jobs, it’s like literally one of most fun side jobs can get. Usually washing down vehicles etc.(you’d damage so much properly if did it like in this game haha) one place do it on slower sundays, bring over all equipment and shoot the shit like Dan and Arin with my buddy while cleaned everything. Wasn’t exactly best paying work haha but moments like at the garden centre when was my summer job were pretty damn cool.

Just wanna put this out there for Arin to make things SO MUCH easier: If you press R, it rotates the nozzle to spray vertically so you can switch it up. The BEST tip for me to give, is if you press tab, it highlights ALL OF THE REMAINING DIRT in a big ol’ bright Orange so you’re not lookin’ all over the place for it. I use that constantly.
When you watch most other creators playing, the episodes are heavily edited, jump cuts and stuff. Can we just take a moment to be impressed that these two successfully and entertainingly fill every second of their videos with hardly ever a jump cut at all?

Please do more levels of Power Wash Simulator because the back and forth that you guys have while playing is completely effortless. It's so soothing to hear water being sprayed and my favorite youtubers just casually shooting the shit with eachother. Also I love the new "LAST TIME ON GAME GRUMPS" because it appeared two days after I saw someone comment about how annoying the original was.

Name That Tune was a legendary 70s game show. The contestant in control would pick one of two song categories, then the host would read a clue to the song. The controlling contestant would bid that they could name the tune in X notes (I believe the highest you could bid was 5 notes). The opponent would then be given the opportunity to bid fewer notes or dare the other to Name That Tune. Once the final value was reached, the piano player would play that number of notes and the player who placed the bid would guess the tune. If the were right they got points and control of the next round, if they were wrong the other person would get the chance to answer.

I know everyone’s saying this, but 1. You have a button that makes dirt stand out so it’s easier to fine, 2. You have a menu that shows what needs to be cleaned and how much percent is left on each thing, and 3. You can change the rotation of your nozzle to go vertically instead of horizontally

Please do more levels of Power Wash Simulator because the back and forth that you guys have while playing is completely effortless. It's so soothing to hear water being sprayed and my favorite youtubers just casually shooting the shit with eachother. Also I love the new "LAST TIME ON GAME GRUMPS" because it appeared two days after I saw someone comment about how annoying the original was.
I love series like this because I don't ha e to watch the gameplay to enjoy it. Game Grumps podcast on my lunch break basically.
True their videos are already like a podcast. Love it both ways. Watching the vid and only listening. Great listening is great for getting me to do other stuff.

Name That Tune was a legendary 70s game show. The contestant in control would pick one of two song categories, then the host would read a clue to the song. The controlling contestant would bid that they could name the tune in X notes (I believe the highest you could bid was 5 notes). The opponent would then be given the opportunity to bid fewer notes or dare the other to Name That Tune. Once the final value was reached, the piano player would play that number of notes and the player who placed the bid would guess the tune. If the were right they got points and control of the next round, if they were wrong the other person would get the chance to answer.
i love when the grumps will be halfway through episode 2 of something and arin will say something like "man this episode is like an hour long?! jeez" and then dan will say "maybe we should cut this into 2 episodes...?" and arin will whole heartedly say "no!" but _clearly_ they did

I know everyone’s saying this, but 1. You have a button that makes dirt stand out so it’s easier to fine, 2. You have a menu that shows what needs to be cleaned and how much percent is left on each thing, and 3. You can change the rotation of your nozzle to go vertically instead of horizontally
