I'm so happy that Matt is back on game grumps. He's honestly my favourite voice actor and he makes an absolutely hilarious duo with Danny.

Whenever I hear Matt Mercer start raging when he's playing I forget that it's not Arin because they have nearly the exact same cries of panic and sadness their voice.
The fact that DESPEEEEEEEE has more letters than desperation is so funny.
Can confirm, they absolutely have "Toss a Coin" at karaoke, I did it at my best friend's bachelorette party with their fiance. Fun times.
Matt is like Dan and Arin mixed together, in mannerisms, voice and looks. And I'm here for it. Marin Avison.

It is funny because they really have a similar cadence to their voices. At times it really sounds like it could be Arin. Had I clicked on this without paying attention to the intro I probably would have thought it was just a kinda sleepy Arin with a sore throat. 14% battery Arin.
But pretty soon the distinct lack of piss, dick, butt and poop jokes would have tipped me off...

Matt has talked in the past about the agony of being a game tester, but I never fully understood what he meant until he said he was playing *this* for 10 hours a day
Same. I abstractly understood the monotony and torture that the job must entail, but to have this so concretely demonstrated... Truly a manifestation of hell on earth.
I'm honestly amazed this isn't so well-known that nobody ever mistakes testing for being a fun job

Even the scream of despair at 40:24 totally fits! Plus the angry growl at 53:32, or the begging whimper at 55:48.

Boy Dan really was the Arin of this playthrough, not reading anything, ignoring sound advice, not minding his surroundings. This is a great control for Arins usual proficiency when he has to play and do the show.
But then again he's probably super excited and can't concentrate properly because he's playing with the one and only Matthew Merciless
Yeah, that whole thing made this difficult to watch. I get they're under pressure and Dan will be nervous because of Matt being Matt, but it just ruined it.
As you say though, good control proving that Arin isn't just a dipshit! He's actually doing the best he can and is concentrating on so much he misses stuff

Hearing Matt's first Grump scream was everything I wanted out of this game. The perfect Grump game played by two awesome grumpy dudes.

As a game tester who is trying to get out of this world to have the career I really want to have, I feel 2001 Matt's pain. When you have to spend hours with your eyes in the same game hunting for the stupidest bugs you begin to want to throw yourself out the window.

Genuinely, all things considered, I can tell some real passion went into this game. Something about the voice acting and animations and mechanics still gives me a good impression, as seemingly unplayable as this is. I’d rather give this game more light of day than a lot of the shovelware that comes out nowadays.
It has a good concept, it was just too ambitious for the budget and limitations of system.
I’m sure there’s a group of fans out there that absolutely adore this game.
I like you can heal at the healed areas to bad so far Dan seem have not noticed you can do that as am watching and typing. So you could fight than run to heal&come back to fight again.
