I'm so jealous that you guys are still getting snow! I loved the part of this video where you guys are McGyvering to fix stuff! I love seeing what kind of weirdness you can find in a garage/shop to make things work. When I worked at the fire department, I was helping the mechanic with trying to figure out some type of spacer. He'd sent me to the hardware store with some washers that we were going to stack, but the sizes just weren't quite right. He ended drilling holes into some quarters or nickels and stacked them, and it was actually cheaper to do that than buying the washers. Problem solving is so much fun!
Oh I wanna get out of this place I don't know why Verizon couldn't wait til summer for me as a tower climber to add 5G on this city which typically takes 3 weeks. Come by Wednesday 3 Apr theres another heavy snowfall. I'm not here to ski, unfortunately I'm here to work in the harsh winter conditions lol😅
Loving it, that you’re back after the lack of snowfall…… I really enjoy your videos love the Sierra have skied up in Mammoth in my younger days. Will definitely continue to follow you. Your videos are improving. Your narration is perfect to your personality. Don’t ever doubt it. Remember you can’t please everyone so just go after those that enjoy and respect your efforts. And as a contractor, look forward to your videos this summer. Arizona, Dan
I remember last winter watching the channel when you first started to post videos you thought a small snow storm was 20 inches or a bit more, this season is a fraction in comparison , you blower shoot is soft metal and gear is a much harder steel, as long as your fix works is all that matters, keeps you going 👍
Jury rigging, I love it. I cannot tell you how many different types of material I have used for spacers and washers. The best items are the plugs you get out of electrical boxes, so called electrician nickles.
Take one of the rings to a machine shop and have them plasma cut some new rings (However many you go through in a few seasons) I'm sure it will be cheaper than the dealer. I think your on the right track by putting a spacer under that gear as long as it doesn't interfere with anything.
If they're fun to make, great, and they can almost pay for themselves and then some on YT; but not enough to make up for time lost actually _doing_ the videos. Juggling _four_ businesses I don't know when Ben gets time to sleep. I remember my dad doing that in my childhood; ran a development corp. and two liquor stores in SoCal, not to mention the apartment and house rentals he managed after getting them built; I never saw him. We lived well but during the week he was never home before 9:00 pm and always out the house before I woke up to go to school. Hey, it worked for him but not for me, sorry....
20:00 And if the jury-rigged gasket doesn't work you can just hang the "For Sale By Owner" sign on the side of the Liugong and get rid of the whole thing.
❤🙋🇺🇸🚜🐩🐆I wish you get another job in next season BEN; Say By, By to Snow. Good for you, good for your best friends :Seide and Bud.🤝🐩🐆. No more hard work in Mammoth Lake.❤❤
Mike at his best! Keep up the good work
Great fix on the blower!
Loving Spring snow and appreciating all you guys do to keep the locals functioning. Bravo

😂 cutting edges do dig 🥶 and that's part of the program ish .... ❤ Hey look the driveway is clear
Amazing how much maintenance their is to keep the equipment running.
Maybe in the summer you can do some house building videos those are cool 😅 or remodeling or renovations.

Nice fixing
I find it difficult just to break stride long enough to take a few pictures while working.
I just read Mammoth got over 300 inches.
Can't blame you for videos taking a back seat in importance... 🤙

How much longer do yall get snow in mammoth..
It's winding down. After April 1 snow is very few and far between, but it _can_ snow up into June and as early as September.
