Hank Marvin is undoubtedly the best leading guitar in the world, for the simple reason that he is the only one who plays with his heart and makes Fender guitars "talk". He, with The Shadows, has formed the soundtrack of my life, with hundreds of wonderful instrumentals, since 1961. I have tried to emulate him with my guitar, but it was and is impossible to follow him with his magic touch. Thank you so much Hank. Edgardo ZILIO from Taranto (Italy)
I don't care what anybody says, the best version of this by far is Hank Marvin's - he adds a delicacy and a feeling into this number that I have yet to see anybody else do and over the last twenty years or so I've seen most of them!!!
A melhor interpretação que eu vi também em todo esse tempo, e sem sem deformar a música como muitos fazem. Simplesmente genial. É muito raro ver algo assim.
Theirs that stunt double again. Saw the same concert at the City Hall Newcastle. I also enjoyed It. Enjoyed your version also. Cheers from Geordieland.
Hi Brian, Wow..Wow..Wow....This is just fantastic!!! You played it so well. For a moment I thought Hank was playing .All the*******my friend and BTU!!!! Thanks for sharing. Best Regards. Melvin Chung.
Hi Brian, BTU&5********************************** Wow !!!!!!! I never enjoyed this tune as much as today when I listened to your new post !!! The creative video is so well composed and, honestly and above all, your phrasing is certainly first class. You played with so much intense and feeling. CONGRATULATIONS my friend ! I enjoyed and so proud of you. Take care Brian, Algaron JP.
They were the greatest instrumental band of the sixties so original so unique Hank was and still is a master in his field and the other were definitely his equal That is a terrific remix of a an all time great piece of music . Thank you NV Norling
Questo brano mi fa venire i brividi , come se la canzone era per fare la amore ,.... Magnifico , questo esecuzione di Hank Marvin , il mago della chitarra elettrica!
Never heard of these cats, but they did a great job. They sounded like legends of the craft. Obviously the guitar player, but that keyboard player was magic and created a different feel to this classic. Pure ear candy.
ALWAYS good to hear other versions; but most of the time, it is changed, way too much. It is a simple song. Some embellishments are good, but you have to hit the strong melodies of the song, here and there, for crying out loud ... otherwise it just becomes a totally different song, which is what this is ... (BTW: I've been playing this song for about as long as HM has ... )
@@Tonetwisters . . It's been my experience that the more high profile and highly accomplished the guitarist, the worse version of Sleepwalk they produce. Want proof? Brian Setzer utterly murders it by being too clever by half
Hi Brian, Another top draw performance. I found the synchronizing of the video with your playing mysteriously fascinating, I had to keep telling myself that it wasn't Hank playing, your definately the star on this one. BTU and yet another bucket of stars. Best Regards Bob
Huh ? Let me get this straight : am I watching Hank, but hearing Brian ? Doesn't really matter; it's after midnight and I always listen to a Shadows tune (at least one) - puts a smile on my face and gives me a peaceful feeling. This video; this beautiful music, did the job - I'm off to bed.
Well played Brian and a great sound. Love those rakes you put in. Yes that is a great BT I think it was on a CD with a guitarist mag a few years back. Very well done. Cheers Phil
Hi Brian! Superb rendition of this wonderful song. Great phrasing and loads of feeling combined with a great tone. I really enjoyed listening to this one. 5 stars for you on this. Kind Regards Chris
Hi Brian, are you sure this is not Hank playing ? What a superb rendition -and the timing to the video is perfect !! Congratulations to this excellent performance. Best wishes from your friend Ernst

Hi Brian, What a wonderful play and tone, think it’s the very best I have heard from your hand… very beautiful, five super stars to you - However I’m in seven minds about the video, the synchronization is super made; but I can’t make my mind up - is it right to do it? - Where is the limit for what is allowed, can’t help it but I have a bad feeling for the video part.. Never mind, your playing was spotless and total beautiful, you are a great player… Cheers Svend

Hey, Brian ! Thought for a tic that I was watching my "Strat Pack" DVD ! (ROTFL) !!! All kidding aside...as I said on SA, This was so good it sent chills up my spine !
