- Trying these marker comparisons in short form for shorts! I briefly go over some similarities and differences between the Chameleon Markers and Ohuhu Markers while I color this fantasy character! On the left is Chameleon and on the right is Ohuhu! Let me know your thoughts on these quick versus, and tell me what you'd like to see next!
For highlights, I used a white Posca paint pen on both sides

For those looking between marker brands, Ohuhu are now refillable
Ohuhu has come such a long long way
@@BubbleBunnyyFRRR i bought a set of 50 about 5 years ago and they only had the chisels and fine point markers, no brush nibs yet. i need to buy a new set fr.
and its a brush tip!!!

Update: ohuhu has refill cartridges and replacement nibs.
Was gonna say!
I think there was another hack for ohuhu or markers like ohuhu where you take out the nib and refill with rubbing alcohol or that’s what I remember
@@Theeshortcakespider that is how to refill them, remove the nub insert ink cartridge, fill, replace nub
I have both full sets of Ohuhu and Chamaleon markers. I have to recomment Ohuhu as Chamaleons are overprized, "mixing" colors is tedious and brush nibs start looking like someone chew on them very very fast :D they have replacements in their sets but you will need them soon as their nibs are horrible :D
Thanks for this. I was thinking about getting Chameleon markers but I can see they're not worth the price
@@Nimatoir honestly they are not :D I have a nice fancy box of them and then bought the rest of the colours I was missing from the box and I kinda regret it :S they look fancy thought :D but honestly I do love ohuhu markers a lot :DO I bought their marker sketchbook, fineliners and have the whole huge set of 120 and then 200 something markers ( I did not know they will have 200 at the time I bought the 120 something and pastel colours and 160 was not available at the time in EU) . They are amazing. They do not get their tips destroyed (at least not for me I use them for like 2-3 months and they are nice and dandy. Alsotheir fineliners work great with markers, no smudges. As all alcohol markers they bleed through paper so make sure to use something to stop them from bleeding to the next page. They have plastic foils in their sketchbooks and their marker sets so you should be fine, I use the one I have in my sketchbook and it's great but don't expect to be drawing on the other side of the paper you used as it will be visible from the other part of the page but not on the next one if you use the plastic page thingy :) hope this helps
Amazing art
I think that the mixing chamber is prety useless since you can just blend them like Any regular marker.
for real. I had a super basic set of five markers and they started deteriorating after a couple weeks. overpriced for the quality even though the ink blends well
Everytime she says "Ohuhu" I can't stop laughing
Same it's sound so funny
Me to
What’s it actually called then?
@@TheRealFurinaDeFontaine Huh? Wym?
@@DefinitelyNotLeeWon like how to pronounce ohuhu
I'm more impressed on how you split the drawing perfectly
(DISCLAIMER NOT HATE)
For those who said/thought that the colour ink on the ohuhu side is very bad quality as it is a completely different colour she just used a different shade marker but I do think she could have used the other lighter colours in the ohuhu skin tone set/sets as I know form first hand in all skin tone sets there are always very very pale to darker skin tones
(REMEMBER NO HATE)
I think it was supposed to look a bit like a shadow on one side, or possibly the ohuhu markers just come in darker shades because they look good but that side is darker
No, as someone with ohuhu markers, theres not that many good peach markers, or any really that work well for a skin tone. You're limited to about 4 skin tones total unless you're a professional at overlapping/mixing colors
@@somnolentCyanideyes they dont have very many lighter shades
The chameleon looks a lot cleaner, and a lot smoother, not to mention the colors are a bit brighter and the highlights are a lot more noticeable.
True, I don't get why everyone likes the Ohuhu more. Even the skin shading looks very blotchy with them.
@@neonicemostly nib and ink quality

Everyone: talking about Ohuhu and/or Chamaleon markers
Me: *crying because she's so good at drawing*
Hola
It might be printed, because why would both sides of her face be THAT symmetrical? It looks like she did digital art, used the symmetry tool, and printed it out. Nonetheless, she is amazing at drawing
@@queenender_zushi6610 I mean yeah. That’s what she did lol. If it’s for the eye or hair or any part. The line arts printer but we’re looking to see if the colors are symmetrical and good in quality, not the body lol
Same!
RIGHT the drawing is very impressive
i think based on how it looks and blends, Chameleon markers might be my preferred. I have used Ohuhu markers before, though its been a while.
Everytime she says "ohuhu* I thought she was laughing...
I would actually like to see the arteza brand, because those are the markers I use, and would like to see there quality compared to different markers
Me 2
Trust me when I say, from experience, Ohuhu is better than arteza, it blends colors much smoother and is .76 cents per marker in most cases
Yes
Chameleon looks really good. I’ve never heard of Chameleon markers but I know about Ohuhu markers. Ohuhu looks more darker.
Same. Exact same. By that I mean I think the same.
It seems to me that the Chameleon ones blend much easier however, Ohuhu seems completely fine if you don’t have that kind of money.
I have the 72 set for the ohuhu markers, I highly recommend them, but it is your choice. Chameleon markers are nice but quite overpriced! Thank you for helping many people decide wich marker is better!
Is Ohuhu no longer compatible with ShinHan Touch Twin inks? I thought they went by the same numbering system and could be used as a refill alternative.
Touch twins 100000 times better than ohuhu
I think she meant that the company itself doesn't offer refills, I'm pretty sure you can still use the alternative
@@MissMarigold I figured, she's just mentioned it in previous Ohuhu videos and I didn't know if something had changed since then 😊
I'm annoyinh i know- but at first i thought you'd said "twinks" afufu just thought I'd say that ✋💁♂️

I feel like it really depends on confidence/skill. I didn't like working with markers at all simply because I wasn't confident with the medium. Now I feel like a pro.
I think the right suits the drawing better but both skin colours are amazingly equal
I have chameleon! I love them, though they're huge and kinda awkward to hold. They blend really smoothly
I think I like the look of the chameleon one better. It seems more cohesive, but the ohuhu is more vibrant
Both marker comparisons came out really pretty. Although I like the Chameleon side because of how light it is and how smooth the brushstrokes look.
I got a pack of 48 ohuhu markers for Christmas and I haven't been able to use them too much but I 100% recommend investing in them
The Ohuhu markers seem more vivid and I like the way it blends more, so I’m choosing Ohuhu.
I have the skin tone 24 pack and let me tell you they are the best markers I've ever used
Not really more vivid, just darker/tarnished
Interesting! I thought the opposite
huh, i thought the chameleon ones has such a better blend. i wonder what would happen if you used both markers together
I’d love to see crayola markers compared to roseart. I know they are both cheap but it would be cool
I like both of them
P.S. your a good artist i get my inspiration from you have a nice day!
It doesn't matter how expensive your supplies are but if you have telent then you can do anything
I prefer both ; it depends on which style and which tones and colors you need
I like chameleon more. It just looks more vibrant
She is so confident and good
The shading blended more with chameleon markers but overall, I like the Ohuhu side more
I love my chameleon markers! The gradients are so fun and amazing ❤
Chameleon is amazing, I love how it blended and the bright colors!
Left side: anime/cartoon
Right side: more realistic/smoother than left side
I like ohuhu better because it blend well and if you look on the dress in the left you can see it’s a bit streeky but there both good markers
I’ve never heard of either of these pen brands before lol
You haven't heard from Ohuhu???? How??
how old are you there almost all I here about in the art community
@@lilyfaulkner3281 not everyone watches everything that has to do with art
@@lilyfaulkner3281 it also depends on where we live coz I've never heard of it

I love these comparison vids so much. Tbh I think that’s why I subscribed lol. Ohuhu has been my go to for about 5 years now.
i remember dreaming about Chameleon cause they have undertone changing option
or at least had
Honestly i prefer the left side but i dont know if its because of the marker or the lighter shades so i can see the blending easier
Def like the Chameleon more, I’m just getting into markers for the first time and would love some heads up on affordable options for beginners that don’t suck. Thanks 😊
whenever she said ohuhu i just heard "ahoOo-"
The blending is alot more seamless on the left side. The right side seems like you would do more of an anime style with it.
i thought we were talking about a fight for a second
I wish these markers were talked about more when I got my 3 or 4 hundred dollar set of copics. Maybe they weren’t a thing back then. I don’t think copics are bad, and I’m thankful to have them, but they’re expensive and I don’t have many skin tones or purples.
Ohuhu (made in China) now has some refillable sep 2023.
First time hearing of chameleon.
Copic (made in Japan) much higher price. And it’s refills are half the size than years ago.
I kinda like Chamaeleon more because there are more replacement choices and they have brighter and more fun shades.
I like Chamaleon more because I’m always using black and you can refill! I never knew that so I should recommend myself to buy it.
Whatever art supplies u use..... I love ur art style ❣️❤️
I don’t mean to sound any kind of way, the only reason I have yet to buy Ohuhu is solely because of the refills... I’d rather buy a more expensive refillable marker than buy multiple markers of the same color, but to each their own honestly 🤷🏽♀️
I love chameleon’s side but ohuhu is amazing as well
Ohuhu I guess blends better and it comes out more solid and bold along with darker
I'm sorry but the way she says ohuhu so casually is very funny and almost Everytime she said it I chuckled a bit 😭😂
I thought was the only one, lol. She sounded like an owl to me.
Her: Says Ohuhu*
Me: Hears UwU~*
Same
No 😐
The only difference I see it the skin tones, but regardless you are INCREDIBLY talented.
I love both sides but I really liked the left
Okay, I love how the shading layers on the chameleon, that one has my vote in this competition
The way she says “OhUhU✨” just tickle’s me
I like the eyes on the left, but I like the shading on the right
Ok think the left looks like it blended better and just smoother imo
I prefer on the colour nibs and the hues so as I have tried using ohuhu i will prefer ohuhu ,love your art 🤗🤗☺️
I prefer the left side. The contrast between the dress' color and the skin's one is better
i loved the orange on the dress on the chameleon side so im choosing that
I like the blending on the left but the right is more pigmented
Every time she said "cosmetically", I heard, "cuz, medically". 😂
I didn’t know what she was talking about when she said Ohuhu
Ps Ik what she is talking about now
The left is me before going out in the sun and the right is after I go outside for 10 minutes
I love both equally
People who likes the chameleon marker side more
👇
I prefer chameleon for one reason, THE BLENDERS ON THE EMD OF EACH MARKER? YES PLEASE
I’d love to see Windsor and Newton markers put against some others- they’re a pricier brand that’s comes as both brush and bullet tips (I use both)
I love chameleons they are almost buttery to use
I’ve had Chameleon since 2020 during the pandemic. I love them. But now that Ohhhhh is stepping up their game I’d love to try them out.
I cannot lie about how much I adore the thw darker colors of the chamellion.
I like the the chameleon markers for her hair, nails, jewelry, and outfit. But I like the skin tone better on the right
I started to space out but kept giggling when she said "ohuhu". So my brain kept waiting for that and when she said it, I chuckled again
I prefer the look of the Chameleon markers, they just seemed more softer looking
Sorry I had socks on and you know
*aut!sm* so I just heard absolute gibberish and just laughed so hard that I chocked on air-
Ohuhu looks cool and I like the darkness of it
I have both and I think chameleon markers are amazing once you get used to the timing. But there is always a place for cheaper markers like ohuhu! Love the art xxxx
Both look amazing and the art possibilities if you use both, omg i love it
Hm chameleon for the skin and eyes with the light fade together, but ahoho for the test for its brightness but good fade still
Creyola and the first marker you have chosen
I like how Ouhuhu blends and how vibrant the colors are, also since I all ready own these markers I give them a solid 9 and a half. I'm really happy how it blends. That's just my opinion 🙂❤️
I love how her hair looks like yarn balls, so cute lol
Left side also that blending
✨ sMoOtH ✨
I like the first side better but I like the skin tone on the other side
Everyone is talking about the art and all
But I want to let you know you have broken my brain by drawing a straight line like THAT
I kinda like the first one better just the details are popping out for me lol
you can find extremely similar shades from Copic and buy their refills to refill the ohuhus. that's what I'm planning on doing but I've have them for over 2 years and they are still good as new. I haven't had much chance to use them but I'm impressed how long they last. people say they should have dried by now.
I love the left I love ur art 🖼
Can you sometime do an Ohuhu and Winsor & Newton promarker comparison?
Maybe do artify next, it's the ones I use and I'm curious if they're good compared to others or not
I love it when you say "ohuhu"
I like the right one. I’ve never used either
you should do copic vs ohuhu
Ohuho for the hair, Ohuhu and Cammelion for accessories, chammelion for everything else
I really love the right side❤❤❤
Every time you said Ohuhu I burst out laughing!
I like both of them, but one is for a lighter tone, and the other is for a darker tone😊
