While i do agree tgv trikes are ridiculously overpriced for what they are. I think it would be impossible to build it for less than 2-3k. The ghost motor, carb, exhaust pipe, cvt clutch setup, fuel tank, wheels and tires gets you well over that $800 price tag quick. Without a frame or many other parts.

The actual trike costs over 5k. So if you're seeing it for less it's a fake site for sure. Idk if tgv is still selling trikes outright tho.
