I had accidentally put a used drum with the new ones and got frustrated trying to load when my sugar was down to 54. I’m not as cognitive and couldn’t figure it out. I've been using this meter for years. I assumed the number was how deep the puncture will be, not the amount of times the drum is used. The best thing about the meter is the 50 tests. The negative is the price of the cartridges 😱 I almost had a heart attack at the chemist when I chemist to buy my first one. The price is ridiculous as they have a 3 month limit on each one.

Your video confirmed my suspicion that I had somehow “used” all of the needles in the drum while I was inserting the new drum for the first time! Your explanation of the look of a used vs unused with the pink stripe showed me that. Now I’m not sure what to do! Another device is $20.00. Is there any way to “reset” it?

I've changed my needle numerous times however the last time I tried to change it the little barrel wouldn't go in all the way and I tried several times and then it suddenly did go in. I tried it again next time and had the same issue, which is why I have come to watch your video. Any thoughts on this please?

I'd like to know too. I have been using CareTouch brand ($7) 33 gauge lancets (the bigger the gauge # the smaller the needle) with the freestyle Freedom lite device but still dread pushing that button. I read the delica is using the same technology to minimize the lancet from wobbling and delica uses a small needle too, like 30g or 33g. The fastclix or softcliix (can't remember which one) uses a larger needle, 28g, so check on that before switching. If you're looking for generic smallest needle lancets for most devices check Amazon for the 33g CareTouch brand lancets. About $6-$7/100 pc.
I just found a legitimate study on ncbi stating over 60% of test subjects given accuchek devices and 5 other devices chose accuchek as being the least painful. Question answered.
desiree accucheck also makes a lot of finger prickers of different kinds, and usually in the kind of study ur pointing to, the researchers are employed by the company themselves.
I don’t have lancet drums that already have 6 lancets in them. I have one drum with 100 lancets on the side and I don’t know how to put them into my lancet drum. I have accu check fast click.
ok nevermind, anyone reading this and wants to reset the lancet there is no other way but to cut all 6 small arms from the white part, once you do that, you can reenter it and use again 💪

1:08 The needle holder is stuck and it won't go inside the accu chek so I can't move the needle pressure or check the sugar what should I do?

His box has loose lancets too, but some come with 1 prefilled drum. I'm thinking of getting this.
