- I bought these, for full price, plus shipping, from Walmart.com in the vague hope that maybe these would fix NERF Ultra. I wanted my Ultra 2 Carbine to be the best it could be, but from beginning to end the darts have always let me down. Since these are new darts, I figured I had a good chance for them to be more accurate... but when it comes to disappointment, Hasbro never disappoints.

What should happen is either A. More accustrike blasters. Or B. Change the ultra dart head to match the accustrike. That's wishful thinking considering it's Hasbro

It's sad that the Ultra line is only going to be remembered for 2 things: the Ultra 2 and for how bad the line is as a whole

@@BornArcher8 The longshot has reddemable qualities, the Ultra 2 has terrible accuray and can jam a lot and you need to mod it to get rid of these problems, that what I meant. The longshot on the other hand, you can use it stock and it will still be decent
The ultra 2 was my first nerf gun (as an adult) but I quickly upgraded to the rival line for the family nerf wars. I hate how inaccurate darts are. The ultra 2 is fun to shoot though.

The point of nerf is- It doesn't hurt too much. You can have fun without dying/having to go to the hospital.
And yes, Airsoft is good but someone can call the police on you for using them in some places.

Personally I liked the old Whistler darts. If someone made darts that whistled that fit in mags... I can see the horror in my enemy's eyes as they hear a 15 dart mag dump of whistling death out of my roaring rapidstrike.
Man that was a throwback... those whistlers and my Vulcan assaulting my brother in a war. Now look at me. In college learned to solder my blasters and made/making some crazy shit.
I did a lipo upgrade for the Vulcan (melting the internals after a while but it was worth it) and those screamers were *wild* coming out so fast.
Hasbro has now stolen your idea for the ultra 2 carbine. You’ve probably seen it by now (the Ultra Dorado)
The only thing that is screaming is peoples wallets from buying garbage ultra products... and maybe Hasbro's executives from laughing at the consumers demise.
Everybody has probably thought of this but the ultra darts are too light for their own good. When they travel out of the blaster the winds no matter how light the gust of wind is will derail the dart from its "point B". The screamer darts exasperate this flaw by being designed to whistle allowing more air to pass through the dart to achieve the sound you are paying for. I believe the darts could be better if the tips we're more rigid and heavy. Basically an accustrike mega dart this is more expensive, and incompatable with other blasters.
the ultra sniper is my hopes and dream if that fails then this nerf failed
If you want to be a sniper just use a PVC blowgun, it's cheaper than ultra darts alone.

I’m a huge sucker for whistler darts. They make me smile every time. Ultra may be garbage but I gotta say those darts whistle pretty good 👌 hehe

From the title, I was honestly expecting these to somehow get like, sub N-strike ranges.
The Ultra dart is the same size as an old-school Mega!
That's the only good thing about Ultra.

Also, if you have a new camera, you have to fix your focus settings.
I bought the scream machine on sale more for the aesthetic look to it but I've seen that the harder the pull of the trigger determined the distance of the dart wah wah trying it out first in it went less than 10 ft but next shot i waited after revving shot a lot more than 10
I think the screamer darts work better with screamer blasters I wouldn't know

They are a tiny bit worse but you really would only use them at close range but hey we get the loud whistle so that’s cool I suppose also we need more accustrike it’s basically the best line there is

Come on guys, don’t diss the ultra line. The first blaster was the ultra one, but now we have a bunch of other numbers like 2, 4, etc. we have to give it positive reviews until we can stall and finally get the ultra 69. Then, a bunch of people buy it, and THEN we give bad reviews so hasbro discontinues the line. We would have already gotten what we need, which is the 69. Think of the potential, of the ultra 69. You can load in the darts into the pharaoh and it still works properly, I don’t have any other ultra blasters so idk how many this works on but I thought it was stupidly funny

I found the sonic screamers at Walmart but I thought they were like fake nerf or something cause of the packaging
I don't know what your standards are but that performance is absolutely great.
Literally any elite blaster shooting Adventure Force Waffles.
How to (mostly) fix the ultra dart,
First remove the hole on the screamers
Then slightly curve the fins on them ever so slightly so that they have a spin that way the spin keeps them more stable
i really hope i'm wrong, but i think 2016-2019 was the modern golden age of nerf. it seems like it's all gone downhill since then.

@@alyssasalmon4883 Yeah even though I have to say my favourite parts of nerf and somewhat gone now though. I just hope to see more innovation later on.
I cut the dart in half only to end up with lower range and about 5-10% increase in accuracy. Although there was an increase, it was still not as good as elite.
I don't know what the pitch of whistler darts is besides the novelty/fun factor.

HEY KIDS, DO YOU WANT YOUR DARTS TO SHOOT LESS FAR, LESS ACCURATELY, *AND* GIVE YOUR OPPONENT THE CHANCE TO HEAR IT COMING?
I did a test of the remaining obsolete dart types that I had (Suction, Tagger, Whistler Tagger), and, yeah, the Whistler tagger was the least accurate darts in all of the blasters I tested them in against a human shaped target within N-Strike Engagement range...which is not good for the intended use of the Whistler Taggers (Dart Tag). Granted, the only old blasters they were tested in were the Element, Strike Fire, Jolt, Sharp Shot, and Quick 16. If you get enough power then the Whistler Taggers DO fly straighter, so there's that. At least it wasn't as bad as Elites or Xcell darts are infamously known for (92% Accuracy in 225 shots).
Though, I've had my Streamlines, Dart Tag Originals, and Elite darts whistle lightly from even N-strike blasters. Haven't noticed any whistle from the AF Waffles/DZ Sureshot darts yet

some advice for your u2 carbine, put in a elite conversion kit from flatten_the_skyline, that has an inbuild scar, you can fire elites and shorts, i can rly recommand it. cheers !

The regular Ultra darts fly straight and far ..........when shot with a drain blaster through the Nerf long range kit barrel.

Hey Walton one thing I can only see in Ultra.......basically for having fun not for any practical reason for a nerf war (I only see this line and ammo being used in indoor wars as the chances of getting some even most of it not all the ammo back ) the only reason to use these blasters would be to just simply have fun the Ultra 2 is the only closest “Practical “ blaster I can see in this line it’s a 6 shot rear loading revolver style blaster that is more a secondary and flywheel powered tho the application in any load out is probably not used by any person unless it’s having fun cuz of the price of the darts.
The only practicality of any of the darts in my opinion is for indoor wars as the chances as I previously stated above is u may be able to get most of your ammo back than if you were outside

N-strike whistlers were pretty accurate. They just don't fly as far as modern darts.

why do they always make like, the same patterns? Stock, whistle, then "waffle head" if they just made waffle heads to begin with, they wouldn't have to deal with so much 3rd party competition, the reason they seem to be discontinuing their main line elite dart
If they made that line just use elite sized darts they'd probably make so much more money.

They made it worse, IDK how but they did... They made them fly so bad that you're more likely to lose them so you have to buy more. that's gotta be why they refuse to make decent darts and the one time they did (Accustrike) they don't use them anymore. Another thing, Elite 2.0 could just use the Accustrike darts as a standard but NOPE, "gotta milk our customers for everything they got right while maintaining the littlest amount of effort we can."
