awesome machine!! just wondering how he plans to get another tile roll in the middle of a run without pulling the plow out of the ground? let me know if anyone out there knows a lil more than I do about this..

No filter sock on the coil? How do you keep it from filling up?

+gary24752 I believe the white stuff IS the Filter Sock. Look closely. There are no visible drainage holes, They are covered by the Sock.

V plow leaves a much nicer finish...this field needs a dozer to fix it.

+TheSoloAsylum yes but a v plow can only put in a small pipe this can put in a much larger pipe and a dozer would just make a biger mess

Decent size roller is all you need.

+bartek No proszę Cię, "drainage" - oczywiście odwodnienie. Wujek Google wszystko tłumaczy jak się nie wie. Potrafisz napisać komentarz to również potrafisz wpisać w przeglądarkę, trochę inwencji. Pozdrawiam.

Too much top soil disturbance. Two to three plowings, discings, and harrowings to level out the furrows before use. This after waiting for a full season so settling can take place. Taking the land out of production for two rotations.
Better to just trench and bury. You get what you pay for. This looks like a cheap method.

Why they don't put gravel on top of the drainage pipe? In Finland almost every drainage is covered with gravel (0-16 millimeter grains) about 5-10 cm height to prevent the dirt blocking the small holes at the pipe.

TheMonopodi78 Do the same in Norway. Atleast in the south/west part. In the east the often use rough/big saw dust.

Try this method almost anywhere in New England. Go ahead. I dare you. Twenty yards, thirty yards max, and you'll have so many rocks the whole operation stops.

jw van liere I bet the v-plow though will get hooked like nothing else on tire sized boulders and just drag them. This seems simpler, with enough power even ton sized stones could be pushed out of the way. More American, it's not painting a pretty picture its about doing the most with the least, while being the fastest.

Abigail Jones that is tru but not all fields have tire sized boulders in them
