But then, oh maybe some forty years ago, when I was just ten summers into the cycle of Terran, we heard they adopted some boy, a orphaned noble from the eastern lands, and that was the beginning of the "unpleasantness". Farmers would find livestock and pets ripped from stem to stern all covered in bite marks and black ichor. Then the Darbies youngest girl went mad in the night, screaming about 'the eyes, the eyes'. Poor little thing, she up country with the cathedral folk. Then one seemingly calm winter morning, when a wood cutter was delivering fire wood, the estate was rampant with all types of unnatural abominations, all strangely familiar but completely inhuman things. Well the local liege, a retired Paladin of Mithsaria, blessed is the light, he rounded up the militias and regional guard and raided the place. They say that the things were all wearing the jewelry and tattered clothes those Von Weber's would wear. Best steer clear of that place. All major kingdoms and empires had ruled it against their law to venture anywhere near the Bleeding Shadowlands, as it was known in the Common tongue, and for good reason. Tievar Morlin was here on a mission, however. Find the source of Shev'Nadrad's curse and end it. Armed with supplies and his sword Fleshrender, he had set out. Currently, the adventurer waded through thick mist that cloaked the ground, obscuring what lie beneath it. The mist behaved in a strange way, curling up around Tievar's ankles. Ocassionally, the mist would form a ghostly figure or face that would disappear almost as quickly as it had appeared. Tortured souls, laughing faces, these were some of the things that Shev'Nadrad contained. Off in the distance, Castle Nasgradh towered over the Shadowlands, looming like the corpse of a great stone tree. The trees in the area, what little there were, had been choked of life, leaving skeletal remains, blackened branches reaching like bony fingers towards the darkened sky. Suddenly, a soul-chilling screech filled the air. Tievar looked up to see the shape of a dragon come swooping down towards him, trailing bits of flesh and scale. Its eyes glowed like necromantic coals as it honed in on its target. The dracolich had come. Tievar drew Fleshrender and steeled himself as the colossal skeleton dove towards him, eyes trailing undead energy. With every flap of its great wings, the sound of crackling bone filled the air. It let out a roar, one that shook the earth and blew back the mist closest to it, which immediately crept back into place. The dracolich tucked its wings in, shooting like an arrow down to where Tievar was. What was that phrase about this place? Ah, yes. It wasn't meant for mortal men.

Just found your channel yesterday and wanted to say your content is amazing! Already found close to two dozen tracks I'll be using in my games! :D Do you take suggestions? I'd love to see you make a gnoll slaver city - hyena cackles, growls, and howls; whip cracks; slave cries and moans; chains clanking; maybe some wind, pipe music, and background crowd chatter. One of these cities is going to feature in a campaign I plan on running, and I haven't found any track like that anywhere.
