  • So how the did I end up starting a company in Japan without speaking the language?? What was that like? When I moved from Kenya to Japan, a country I never even visited before moving with all my stuff, the last thing I thought would happen would be for me to start a business here. How did I end up starting a successful start-up 5 years ago in a country where entrepreneurs really struggle?
In this video, I will share with you how I started my company called Next Frontier (www.nextfronti...), which is a video production & digital marketing company based in Shibuya, Tokyo. This turned out to be probably the best decision I’ve ever done with my life!

Wow, it's one thing to set up a company in Japan while being fluent in Japanese. But if you didn't speak the language, it`s amazing! Hats off to all your hard work!

Lean and agile is the way to go (as always has been), and yet Japanese companies struggle with this. Great video!

this may not be kosher, but fkn eh! bud - you definitely deserve your success. very inspiring and congrats. Just one question - How did you find the "few japanese part-time workers" suitable to generate business for you and what was their rate?
