Dollar is king!
Conqueror is one of the few islands of pure power and fun in the British Tech Tree. Long reload but you can clap anything at that tier with armour to match. Love that tank.

@@SpeedevillPAVO just gotta avoid anything with multiple plates (usually). The T26E1-1 is pretty much frontally immune to it.
@@connivingkhajiit Dawg, I've gotten "shell shattered" on the mantlet of a Leopard 1, I eventually swapped it for the FV-something-something with the 87mm cannon in my lineup because at least it reloads in like 1/3 of the time.

If APDS were reliable, the Conqueror would be a terrifying heavy. It's just so much pain to go from penetrating the front of almost anything, to watching the 120mm APDS disappear or shatter

Appreciate all you do dollar! The Conq is by far my favorite 7.7 heavy tank it’s a good mix of armor mobility and probably the hardest hitting gun on a 7.7 heavy in the game!

However, soviet 122mm is also good
The Conq is my favourite tank in the game, I think with the add on armor it gives me like... "Knight in full platemail" vibes. Objectively though for the relatively minor difference in pen, the Caernarvon is probably a better choice just for the faster reload.
Overall the T-10A is the best 7.7 Heavy tank, but since it's an event vehicle.

The decal really works. Put it on all my tanks recently, including light tanks and tanks with essentially no armor. Bounced 3 shots on the bulldog and hellcat xD. 10/10 would recommend. Great video as usual :)

all the hatches are 17mm cast, and it impacted above the loader's hatch. 105mm HEAT, HESH and HE will overpressure the tank if it impacts near one of the 4 hatches.
even soviet/french 100mm HE can do that.
also, a month ago (and prior to that) even US 90mm HE could overpressure the tank

The Conqueror's 120mm gun was a American gun so should have all the American ammo for it... and of course the same applies to the opposite way round.
@@babalonkie true but gaijin wont make their game better because their "community" (that they built) is 90% people who bought a premium and are now trapped in wt, and the other 10% is people who actually know their shit and care for the gameplay
@@babalonkietbh if tanks got all the ammo they could possibly fire, the Char2C would get M61
But that does mean that they arent able to make a premium vehicle that allow you to use that ammo for 60€.

I played almost every British ground vehicle at 7.7 and by god, this one is the best.
The centurion at 7.7 almost made me give up, but then this blessing of a tank came up. God I love it.
the cent mk3 is miles better than the mk1, but you have to play it like a light tank. No armor, poor speed, but good gun and mobility make it a beast in urban maps. I love clowning on soviet vehicles on Sweden. 1st shot the breech, second the knock out.

@@heliogonzalezsanchez8227 you are not fast but you are quite mobile, good turning and acceleration with the stabilizer means you can pop in and out of corners really well. Purely a shoot first kill first tank, if you miss the first shot you must bail immediately cause otherwise youll die. It can easily 1v1 any tank but cannot handle more than 1 confidently due to the nature of apds "disable first kill second". The very good reload is also faster than just about everyone else. The quiet engine also helps it go unnoticed for a while. It also just naturally fills the role of "team supporter" quite well.
People should stop caring about armor and start caring more about Firepower, enemy weakness and map knowledge. These are my 3 way to bank money. Atleast that's what GSB have teach me. "Oh but these tank has great armor values" ok and? You still gonna get bombed to hell, some dart/Heat-FS/Sabot gonna make that great armor value look like a Stuart against a Soviet 122mm.

I absolutely love the HESH on the Conq. Slaps most tanks you face at that Br range. I use it more often than the APDS

If you don't like the re-load of the Conqueror, then the Carnarvon might be your style. It's got the Conqueror chassis, but the turret of & the 20 pounder gun of the Centurion Mk. 3.
Gotta be careful with your front plate tho. Turret can take a lot of punishment, but not the front plate
Over 500mm pen APDS, a fully stabilized 120mm cannon, and a heavy tank with great armor...

@@DOLLARplays it has very glaring downsides that can be easily exploited. While its UFP is nigh impenetrable, its LFP is very weak. Plus the very weak hull and turret roof. The reload is also one of the worst things a tank can have in a game like this. I personally feel like its very balanced where its at, much like the 76 Jumbo.
The gun doesnt work many times, combined with terrible reload and the armor is also useless when you constantly face stuff like Leopards...
But yeah in a 6.7 downtier, which should not happen anyway in a well developed game, it slaps

I’ve been grinding the British tree for a while low trying to build the 7.7 line up. Lord have mercy 💀. But I’m now closing in on the conq I am almost half way through the Carnavoron. Knowing even though it will be “shell shattered” I will have an ungodly amount of armor pen.
