Aggie here. I didn't get to watch a whole lot of the game, but I agree with the body language comments. It seemed there were a couple bad breaks at the beginning that got y'alls players down and no one really stepped into that vortex and stopped the team from spiraling down. Y'all have a good roster and I think this will likely be their gut check game.

The previous 3 games, Aggies would have rolled had a healthy Weigman played, glad Reed led A&M to 3 victories but Weigman is legit, he also injured his shoulder early vs ND and should’ve been pulled in that game. I wish yall luck rest of the way unless yall play us again lol
First time I heard this and this is a smart take.
Great pod, I have been going thru it this week. JMac did lift my spirits but Idk personally this did not feel like a one off the team seemed flat and after LU's TD got called back we kinda laid down. We got beat mentally and that cant happen. Its week 6. (Yall gotta get Sean a new mic man)

Score was worse than how good the team actually still is, couple plays didnt go their way and they had no one to huddle them all together to tell them to keep the fight. Going to need that definitely going forward especially with a trip to Bama coming up.
How do you come back from the whole Team quitting in the middle of a Conference Game?

I don't think the offense quit...they just looked shook after all the bs in the first quarter. The defense DEFINITELY quit lol
@@wbgthadoctalol there was one bad call "the PI" that may have been pulled since it was close to "uncatchable". The "linemen down field" was legit as he was 7 yards downfield blocking LBs....it was the right call, but I could easily point to the missed holding call on the TD pass mizzou got
That fieldgoal was a tail tuck move. My team would leave that game knowing settling for less is not the mindset I want. We getting a touchdown just to have that bar still there. And Texas A&M is currently the #1 team in the SEC and leading by 2 conference games over everyone else. Don't believe that AP poll, you see where that got Missouri and Alabama.
Point differential matters in tie breakers for making sec championship. (Not that Mizzou has a shot anymore). I agree it looks bad but that would be the reason. Especially after getting stopped 7 times after 1st and goal.
Spoon's comment about on the field leadership is exactly what I took away from that game. We seemed to lack that sort of thing to stem the tide. Nothing was going our way, for sure... and A&M was ballin like foolz.... but the lack of accountability between the players was probably the most evident thing to me. This is one of those games though that can actually bring that out of you. This can forge that type of thing. Let's hope it does!
A&M dominated on the offensive line and their blocking schemes were executed perfectly. Also I disagree with Spoon in that you will see at least three of the starters on that A&M defensive line have good careers in the NFL. They have some future pros and early draft picks on that front 7 and I wasn’t on the field but they do look imposing. And it’s tough to see these StL kids balling out but not at Mizzou but you gotta root for them and Will Lee is a future all pro. The thing that no one has talked about is how gambling and sports betting have infested and entangled themselves with college football and sports in general. Do you think John Donaghy is the only ref to ever purposefully influence a game? It is easy to fixate on one minor weakness in a teams game system and focus on one side. A perfect example is ILLEGAL FORMATION. IF has been called 70% more this season than ever before. To suggest that Vegas has nothing to do with the outcomes of games is naive and flawed reasoning. Mizzou had only two plays for 20 yards or more and the refs took 4 20 yard plays away with penalties. At least two of those plays would’ve resulted in scores if not three. Also, two of those penalties were in the first quarter. The biggest indicator for me personally was the poor body language. You can’t win if you don’t fight till the last second. And that stood out to me. Shoulda coulda woulda, all I’m saying is that game was closer than the score depicted, and the national media slander was happening to Mizzou last season, this season before the loss, and every other year in University of Missouri history. Not trying to take away anything from A&M they looked like the superior team and dominated the line of scrimmage, but the game is played completely differently without third party intervention. I think they should move the replay headquarters out of NY and into a city in the Midwest because I have such little confidence in NYs ability to use their eyes and determine what happened on any given play. Another great episode fellas! Let’s bring some more pressure and blitz the rest of this season! If that deathrow defense can bounce back we will have another great season. M I Z!!!
The first PI call was missed, but the lineman downfield was a legit call, he was blocking a LB in pass coverage before the pass was thrown. You learn in junior high not to go to the next level on a pass play so either he thought the play was a run or he is an idiot. So blame the lineman not the ref on that one. Also the td yall did throw should have been called back because mizzou Lineman was holding A&M defense end
I agree, it can go one of two ways. We need to regroup and reset for the rest of the season.
I love what you guys put together and it has become my favorite thing to watch but Maclin…the talent can be there but let’s take a hard look at Florida St.
I’m not saying we’re that bad but they also said they had TONS of talent. I think we have some serious internal issues and disconnects but ultimately we see what happens in 2 weeks.

There was a particular play up the sideline where Dreydon Norwood gave the OLE'...bullfighter style..legit GOT OUT OF THE WAY lol. It looked like the defense gave zero f***s most of the game. Spoon said it best. It was SOFT. Having a bad game happens to everyone and every team, but not giving effort, especially to THAT magnitude, is very alarming.

What happened was unfortunately we have the woest QB in the SEC....and he played like it. And a DC who acted like the freshman running QB was playing

Ya, they aren't 30 points better, they are 31 points better.
Connor was QB1 last year and won the battle in camp. He got hurt in the ND game and Marcel stepped in and was up to the challenge, but he needs some more time to be able to read his progressions. everyone discounted A&M after that ND game, but these guys were highly recruited and were not coached well under Jimbo. It just shows that ELKO is a damn good coach.
Missouri had 2 weeks to prepare and they discounted A&M. y'all are still discounting them on this video. missouri may have played a bad game, but A&M had a big influence in that, by beating the brakes off of them. domination in all 3 phases of the game and got outcoached as well? own that ass kicking and move on

Man you're just a hater on everyone lol. Teams are leveling up with NIL including Vandy. Can't confidently say its a one-off or not until we see the response. You may be right, but we won't know until we see the performance these next couple of games
