    I love how you're allowed a centipede but not a tarantula. I know which one I'd rather have escape and its not the pede lol

      @@Aquarimaxbtw I love ur channel! You’ve helped me so much with learning how to care for my Isopods😀 have you ever owned cubaris murina isopods? They are one of my favorite types as well as armadillidium vulgare and p. pruinosus :)

      @@Aquarimax they really are! One of my favorite species for sure… I only have three species, vulgare, murina, and pruinosus! But out of all three the cubaris murina have the most personality in my opinion :)

    I’ve figured out a way to stop the lids of the sliders from scratching. What I do is not use the a lot but place the lid on top of the enclosure. The magnets are strong enough to have a firm seal on the lid and you can just grab the lip to pull it up. The only disadvantage is the big gap left behind. I just cut out a ziplock bag to the shape of the gap and used clear tape to tape it secure. It has been working perfectly so far but you might want to replace the ziplock bag and tape every few months.

    i just ordered me one of their large enclosures for my first isopod colony... looking forward to it, definitely a show piece which should look good.

    i was thinking a bookshelf fish tank with a diy mesh lid.. 18 long by 5 by 7 or something close to those dimensions... maybe see what a glass specialist would charge to add cross vent holes.... thats 12 quarts vs the 6 most people are housing in and would be great for a display 18x5 floorspace.. only issues i see are cross ventilation and that most are rimless so you have to rig up your own lid

    The other downside to Tarantula cribs is how addictive they are. Theyre likr Pokemon... Gotta collect them all....!! And i only keep Isopods... ❤❤❤

    So I have noticed that springtails can climb the walls of my tarantula cribs..have you noticed any escaping springtails via the holes?

      My wife has requested that I not keep tarantulas, and I can live with that.
