Are geodes really rare as the chat said? By my experience amethysts and diamonds are much more common than coal.

It's kinda funny seeing things these guys are proud of in the game but also the fact that you can enjoy Minecraft both if you're just a dad building shacks and maybe a cool tower and if you're a pro Minecraft streamer building megabases, complicated redstone contraptions and stuff. How cool is that?

Whats cracked ones used for, regrowth?
The funny thing is kerosene was the entire reason for the creation of the gas industry. Literally, entire cities would have whale oil as their only reasonably safe and easily usable form of light. Tallow candles were messy, smelly, and much more likely to either go out or cause a fire. Coal gas smelled horrible even though it was reliable.
Then someone figured out how to make kerosene from coal and people had a brighter and relatively cleaner burning form of illumination, and THEN someone figured out how to make kerosene from crude oil. Kerosene changed the way people lived because it literally added usable hours to the day.
Imagine if staying up to read or do some work for an hour would cost a huge chunk of your daily wages most of your life and then suddenly you've got a cheap, bright lantern that you can afford to use regularly. Suddenly oil is immensely useful and a lot of chemists switch over from working on coal to oil, and then a few decades later gasoline is produced and kerosene becomes an afterthought because of the advent of electric lighting.

@@asdfnewguy7029 You can make spyglasses which are fun but also Tinted Glass which are see through but don't let light through, so you can watch your mobs spawn. I don't know how needed it actually is on a server, but it is pretty!

Saying that dinosaurs were around for 150 million years (probably closer to 177) to point out how new modern humans are is a false analogy.
Dinosaurs were a diverse group of many different species that each had different timelines. A more apt comparison would be dinosaurs to primates; which have been around for about 63 million years. Or even dinosaurs to mammals ~220 million years.
Yeah but the distinct reign over the entirety of the planet is what he’s talking about, how long have primates rules the world? Or how long have mammals been the dominant figure?

Hey NL, heres some intel from a guy who plays too much minecraft, and feel free to ignore this because i dont want to be rude or anything, but if you use your touches as breadcrumbs when you mine, it makes it a lot easier to get lost in the sauce and still know your way out. the way i do this is placing all torches on my right, then whenever i want to leave, i follow any torches on my left. hope this helps!!! lovin the content :)

That way, if you get lost, you can find your way back just by following your torches, keeping them on your left side.

I started watching you for Isaac. Watching you play minecraft is painful and I've only been playing minecraft for 2 years... As soon as you were told not to break the budding amethyst you broke one. Also things like bones can be useful as well to make bonemeal.
