i like what he said at the end. it’s beautiful and it’s not permanent. makes people appreciate it more.
The samurai’s philosophy; the most beautiful thing will never be permanent like Sakura
Your ice sculpture is beautiful, your unique style is amazing. ♥️
Getting one for my mansion

Funny, I had forgotten,… when I was little, dad was a chef & would, occasionally, get to do ice sculptures, when the weather was cold enough or when contracted out-of-state. Always fascinated me.
I am a professional food artist, I guarantee your dad's sculptures looked better than this. Weather didn't matter to him.
I'm amazed it didn't melt! What a wonderful piece of art 👏
Amazing art! Beautiful work!
He made this look so easy
Such an intricate and a masterclass!
Incredible 😮❤

Don’t fall in love with the sculpture… he drops it at the end😂

His factory is near by my apartment.
This is a wonderful video. Shintaro Okamoto is very talented. I wonder if he likes the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies?
This is really cool. Sad that it a temporary shared art form. I wonder how long this project took.
now I want a wedding with a ice sculpure
music?!!!!?????
Great stuff. I’m just amazed he doesn’t wear eye protection or ear protection when using that chainsaw and other loud tools. Not criticizing or scolding, just impressed he doesn’t need them.
Ummm. They are naturally protected. Around 40% less surface area. Plus he isn’t s puccy
@@frankyb702so…you think wearing protective gear is “puccy?” Well, I guess you’ll soon be doing everyone a favor by continuing to believe that.
eye protection from what? the excess ice that was being ejected by the chain was like snow cone consistency. a snowball to the face is probably more dangerous
Americans don't believe in occupational health and safety
I'm an ice carver. Sometimes while angle grinding etc you take an uce shard to the eye.. tends to sting a tad but just bounces off. Chainsaws throw the snow/water forwards so you don't get it in the face. Die grinders cover you in snow. Any kind of goggles while throwing snow instantly blinds you so it's far more dangerous to wear that stuff.
pra que?
According to his daughters, he is abusive
i dont understand how he never went to prison
Yo who else is watching while eating ice
I get that it's temporary, but it hurt to see such lovely craftsmanship get smashed at the end. Why couldn't it have been donated somewhere?
Getting 2 for my mansion lobby
Джекки Чан в скульпторы подался ближе к пенсии
I think he's Japanese not Chinese lmao. If u can see the board hanging there was read "okamoto"
Don’t tell me you haven’t been using ear protection your whole life
Really wanted to watch this but the sound was too much for me. Awesome stuff tho!
>by hand
>uses power tools
He used his hands to hold the tools. All his tools. He didn't use his fingernails did he?
Chainsaw Man IRL
Sow woanderfull. Congratulations.
I think if you picked something a bit sturdier like sand or stone it would be better because then it lasts longer
But they smashed it all in knifes out……
No. Please I am afraid of ice carved😢😢😢. ThankS po.😊
mid. the Chinese who live in Harbin do it better and bigger
