Big 12 is definitely the best conference, but the Big East isn't too far behind. Marquette absolutely crushed Kansas, and I'm confident UConn would have as well if not for their injuries in that game.

Why did they not storm the court? Saw an assistant coach was like "please for god's sake don't storm the court". Why? Don't watch many KU games: Can't stand seeing coach Self coach another school and then thinking about the 15 years of misery that followed for my team. Love Coach Self; will always be an Illini.

Last year K-State students stormed the court because beating KU is a rarity. It was Coach Tang's first year as head coach, and he told the students he didn't want them to storm the court anymore, because he wanted them to expect to beat KU. And this was the second year K-State beat KU in Manhattan in a row.

By the metrics, this just isn't a great Kansas team. I think they have a high ceiling, in spurts, but they have no depth. The 48 hr turnaround, after playing Houston, was not a good thing for them.
